Our coverage of the 15s club season is all about growing our list of names and expanding our newest watchlist. Early-season tournaments provide the perfect opportunity to do that, especially with many club standouts waiting to get their shot on the high school side. Omaha’s ASICS Presidents’ Day Classic was one of those opportunities, and we have fresh faces to discuss.
Here are some Class of 2027 attackers who made a big first impression during the holiday weekend.

It only seems fair to start with one of Omaha 15U division champions. Scribner rocketed onto our 2027 radar with several standout performances en route to VCNebraska 15 Black’s 15 Club title. This middle blocker’s greatest asset is her quick arm, which delivers heat that few opposing defenses can handle. Look for Scribner to elevate the Lincoln-area prep scene for years to come.
Avery Loewe Avery Loewe 5'7" | RS Lincoln Lutheran | 2027 NE

VCNebraska 15 Black exhibited some fantastic offensive balance, so Scribner is not the only player we’re spotlighting from this group. Loewe was another consistent scorer at the Presidents’ Day Classic who did most of her work on the right pin. She is particularly comfortable when attacking into the crosscourt and can adapt to a variety of tempos behind the setter. Get ready for some VCN additions in our next 2027 watch list update.
Grace Samuelson Grace Samuelson 5'11" | MB Omaha Concordia | 2027 NE

Club Legacy is no stranger to drawing in some of Omaha Concordia’s top prep stars. Samuelson might be the next in line. The 15 Alpha middle blocker anchored the net as Club Legacy claimed a podium finish in Omaha. Samuelson garnered some varsity experience with Concordia last fall but is reaching a new level on the club side this spring. The Presidents’ Day Classic was just the beginning.
Lauren Eck
Lauren Eck
Eck adds to our run of middle blockers on this feature. This Premier 15 Red standout is a constant source of energy for her team, and some of that has to do with Eck’s output in the front row. She gets off the floor quickly and is a sure bet to score whenever she’s given a one-on-one opportunity. We already got a glimpse of 15 Red at this year’s Northern Lights Qualifier, but Omaha’s holiday tournament brought Eck into focus more than ever.
Gemma Jones Gemma Jones 5'7" | RS Lincoln Pius X | 2027 NE

Let’s keep growing our list of standouts for Nebraska ONE 15 Lime. This group got plenty of hype in Minneapolis last month, but we haven’t had a chance to discuss Jones’ impact on the right side. The lefty attacker found her attacking groove at the Presidents’ Day Classic, especially when tooling off opposing blockers. Better yet, Jones can also deliver dimes from the service line and chip in with right-back defense. Six-rotation opposites are starting to assert themselves in the Class of 2027.
Lizzie Krajicek Lizzie Krajicek 5'9" | OH NE
Lizzie Krajicek Lizzie Krajicek 5'9" | OH NE
We can’t forget to talk about Krajicek’s attacking range for River City Jrs 15 Navy. This left-side hitter demonstrated just about any shot you could think of during the team’s outing in Omaha. Krajicek can chop a roll shot into the sharp angle or cuff one down the line–or anything in between. As more under-the-radar 2027s rise to the forefront, keep this River City Jrs prospect in mind.
Norah Haynes

Depth is still a prevailing storyline among Premier Nebraska’s 15s. We saw what Premier 15 Silver could accomplish at January’s Northern Lights Qualifier, and the team’s ceiling keeps climb now that Haynes has asserted herself in the frontcourt. This aggressive opposite made the most of her reps in Omaha with some hard-driven balls that were seldom controlled by block touches. 15 Silver has proven to have some strong hitters behind the setter. Haynes keeps adding to the narrative.
Emery Williams Emery Williams 5'10" | RS Lincoln Southeast | 2027 NE

Here comes Nebraska ONE 15 Black. We have a lot to review on this team after a third-place finish in the 15 Open division. Williams immediately stands out as one of 15 Black’s most physical attacking option on the right side. The Lincoln Southeast product is not just an offensive weapon, either. Her length allows 15 Black to square up with any opposing left side in the 15U fray. More gains are on the horizon for this group.
