We have been watching the 2025 class very closely throughout the entire club season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone’s recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be added to the rankings due to their individual performances.
Nenu Kpea Nenu Kpea 6'2" | MB Melissa | 2025 State TX [2025] 6-2 Middle (HS: Melissa/Club: Madfrog /Verbal: Uncommitted)
Please officially welcome Miss Kpea to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 86th best overall prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Melissa High School and also for the Madfrog volleyball club. In the past year, this young lady has really come alive and made the volleyball world take notice. She is getting better each day and proving just how dangerous she can be as an attacker. I love how she times her set from defensive transition. She keeps her head turned and focused on judging the distance and speed of the dig behind her in order to determine precisely when to leave to be on time for the quick set. Her long arms and stellar hang time allow her to swing away against blockers who can’t jump with her. By the end of this season she will be on every college coach’s radar who still need a middle in her grad class. Madfrog is suing her in different routes out of serve receive and it is boosting her game tremendously. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot and being named one of the best players in our State Rankings.
Abbie O’Shay Abbie O’Shay 6'1" | RS Jordan | 2025 State TX [2025] 6-1 Middle (HS: Jordan/Club: Houston Juniors /Verbal: Colorado School of Mines)
Please welcome Miss O’Shay to the prestigious State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 91st best overall prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Jordan High School and also for the Houston Juniors volleyball club. Abbie has progressed extremely well since getting on our radar. I love how she has gotten faster and stronger in the middle position. There is not a route that she cannot run with precision and quick footwork. Her feet bounce off of the floor like they were volleyballs. It is key for a middle’s feet to not stick to the floor too long since that will slow her down a lot. The way that she allows the ball to stay on her right shoulder during the slide is awesome as that will help her to hit both line and angle from the difficult set. On the defensive side of the ball, she gets her arms up and over the net really strongly to block would be scorers. I also love the way she plays the game with such fire after a point is scored. This is very contagious to a team and will help to keep momentum on her team’s side. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our State Rankings.
Alexys James Alexys James 5'10" | S Fulshear | 2025 State TX [2025] 5-10 Setter (HS: Fulshear/Club: Houston Sklyline/Verbal: Howard University)
Please welcome Miss James officially to the State Rankings. Alexys is currently ranked as the 95th best overall prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Fulshear High School and also for the Houston Skyline volleyball club. This talented setter can dish the rock with the best of them. Being a dynamic jump setting phenom just comes easy to this naturally gifted young lady. I love how she uses the jump set from a variety of locations in order to fool the defense. It works out to her advantage quite often and is so fun to watch. She possess the power to push the ball to her right side hitter from all the way over on the left side of the court if need be as she pushes the ball against the flow of the dig. This has created tons of one on one situations for her opposite. But wait, there’s more! She can hit too!!! Alexys can punish the ball with the best of them and scores with her lightning fast arm swing if her team needs her to. We are proud to have her listed on our State Rankings. Please help us congratulate her on being named one of the best players in the state of Texas.
