Here is a report on seven ranked athletes headed to play for JUCO programs in Kansas. This is the first of multiple reports on JUCO signees from the Class of 2024.
This is not an all-inclusive list, as not all programs have announced official signees, and not all coaches and players have responded to inquiries. Ashlynn Jaccard Ashlynn Jaccard 5'11" | MB Lansing | 2024 State KS , 5’11”, OH/MB, Lansing (Cowley College) Pictured Above
Jaccard is the perfect role player to add to a program defending a national championship next fall. Jaccard is now ranked No. 50 after committing to Cowley. She is a versatile athlete who can play a utility type player for the Tigers. She finished her senior season with 153 kills. Jaccard finished her high school career with back-to-back seasons of 60-plus total blocks.
Taylin Stallbaumer Taylin Stallbaumer 5'6" | OH Seaman | 2024 State KS , 5’6”, OH, Seaman (Johnson County)
Stallbaumer is a two-sport prospect who took a long time to decide whether she wanted to play college volleyball or basketball. She is ranked No. 51 among her Kansas peers. She shared time at setter her first three seasons but transitioned to outside her senior season. Stallbaumer finished with 658 career kills and 809 assists during her high school career. Johnson County is getting a proven winner as she was on a state championship basketball and volleyball squad this year.
Callie Parker Callie Parker 6'0" | MB Concordia | 2024 State KS , 6’0”, MB, Concordia (Cowley College)
Concordia’s Parker is ranked No. 55 in the Class of 2024. She can play multiple positions. She finished her senior campaign with 174 kills, 97 assists, and 46 total blocks. She is headed to Arkansas City to compete with Jaccard for playing time.
Kinnley Flower Kinnley Flower 5'6" | S Winfield | 2024 State KS , 5’6”, S, Winfield (Garden City)
Flower is a spunky setter with a nice tip game. She is ranked No. 58 and has signed with the Garden City Broncbusters. Her final high school stat line included career numbers of 535 assists, 330 digs, and 125 kills.
Mayah Pridgett Mayah Pridgett 6'0" | MB Cair Paravel | 2024 State KS , 6’0”, MB, Cair Paravel (Kansas City Kansas CC)
I first saw Pridgett in club action back in the Spring of 2023. She played high school ball at Cair Paravel and is ranked No. 71. She has a long reach and can hit from the middle or outside. She has committed to play in the Jayhawk Conference with Kansas City Kansas Community College.
Gretta Stover Gretta Stover 5'7" | DS/L Andover Central | 2024 State KS , 5’7”, DS/L, Andover Central (Butler)
Stover is a grinder who can play multiple positions depending on where the Butler College staff decides to utilize her skills The Andover Central product is ranked No. 73. She finished her senior season with 287 kills, 265 digs, and 500 serve receptions.
Macy Nachtigal Macy Nachtigal 5'4" | DS/L Great Bend | 2024 State KS , 5’4”, DS/L, Great Bend (Barton)
The Great Bend libero is a member of the 1,000-career dig club. She is ranked No. 79 and will be staying home to play for the Barton Cougars. She finished with three consecutive seasons of 300-plus digs and a career tally of 1,164.
