While I have had the opportunity to cover some of the names on this list, many of them were not. Here is a breakdown of setters who ran the show at the Champions Cup.
Breana Griesbach
Breana Griesbach
Breana really impressed me at the Minnesota Slam last month and was equally as impactful at the Champions Cup. She is smart and savvy with the ball. Breana always seems to know what is going on on the other side of the net which only adds to her already great leadership on the court.
Audrey Tews
Audrey Tews
Audrey exploded onto my radar at the Champions Cup. She is a clean setter who moves the ball around with a fast tempo and quick precision. She utilizes every hitter and feeds them the ball. Audrey was dominant on the court and was confident running her offense.
Katie Kornowski
Katie Kornowski
It is hard to believe Katie is one to two years younger than every other player on this talented team. She runs the court like a seasoned leader and is consistent and reliable in her play. Katie worked hard and hustled on every play and was impressive throughout the weekend.
Emily is a smart and savvy setter. I really liked her decision-making throughout the weekend. Emily also perfectly balances taking risks with making smart plays. Her speed and good fundamentals help elevate her performance.

Emma is so well-rounded. She always impresses me when I have the opportunity to see her play. She is strong in every skill, from serving and defense to setting. She has quick hands and precise placement of the ball. Emma is hard for opponents to read and does not give away her decisions too early.

Laila is a clean and scrappy setter. She makes the toughest plays work and is great at making consistent plays when she is on the move. Laila will do just about anything to keep the ball alive. She is relentless and gritty and a fun setter to watch.

MaKenna McHugh
MaKenna is all over the court. She is lightning-fast and confident. Her jump set is consistent, and she never misses a beat. Her hustle and natural leadership skills make her a great setter and teammate. She is impressive to watch run the court.
Samantha Behling
Samantha Behling
Samantha is a great all-around player. She was setting and hitting at the Champions Cup. Samantha was incredibly consistent in every rotation. She could be relied upon to manufacture points when she was in the front row and ran the offense efficiently when she was setting in the back row.
Reagan is a very talented setter. She is not afraid to take risks. Regan ran a 5-1 when I saw them play at the Champions Cup. She has great endurance and is able to run the offense smoothly, even in tight games. Her confident demeanor and trust in her teammates make her a great setter.

Tatum is a setter/hitter combo who got a lot of touches on the ball. When she is in the front row, she is a go-to hitter. Her sets are clean and she gets her feet around the ball very well. Tatum has a nice jump set and feeds all of her hitters. She spreads her offense well.

Laina is a very driven and competitive athlete on the court. She is always working to elevate her game and that of her teammates. She has good hands and moves the ball pin to pin very well. She makes smart choices and is a player to watch in this class.
