Wold is full of power and a lot of it. She ran a little slide approach to the right pin and just blasted the ball to the opposing 5 corner. Wold plays solid off blocker defense and transitions to make herself an available attacker. She hits a hard deep cross corner and maintains control at the net when there is an overpass. Wold makes everything look so effortless.
Highlights
Binagi takes a hard swing to the deep cross corner and makes the defense scramble. She has this crazy hangtime where she can waitout the opposing block and then hit wherever her heart desires. Binagi is competitive but never loses her smile.
It has been fun watching Subat develop over the years. She can terminate from either pin and she isn’t afraid to pick a target and go after it when she is attacking. Subat was destroying the line early in playoffs.
Lippe was doing all kind of good things for her team. She played really scrappy off blocker defense and used the blocker’s hands to score points for her squad. I really liked her movement during play because she was smooth on and off the net and in transition. Lippe made pass to attack look easy and effortless.
Justman is getting really good at that deep corner cross court shot with a high snap on the ball. She also knows how to string points together. She serves in the deep seam with a fast low flat float that leaves passers looking at eachother.
Jensen is a crafty 6 rotation pin hitter. She can terminate from either pin and uses all of the tools she has available. Jensen puts the pressure on passers from the service line and moves well in the back court.
Holman doesn’t just put up a big block but she can also take a really heavy swing. This south paw can bring the heat and she is sneaky with her attack choices. She has the size and power to be a gamechanger.
