As a fellow lefty, Makena caught my attention right away. I love her versatility and her ability to read defenders. She has a powerful swing, and her line shot is impressive. Makena is also a weapon out of the middle, consistently finding the open court and putting opponents out of system. She’s going to be a major force for Viterbo next season!

I love how far Ihle has come as a player. She is a lefty with a really high contact point and a fast armswing. Ihle also puts up a monster block that will make attackers nervous.

She not only made a big announcement recently that she had committed to Viterbo but she also has a cannon for an arm. When she swings her team pays attentuion. Put her next to any of the middles a a big block will be going up. Ihle has a high contact point and fast swing on the ball with a great slice to it.
