<p>The State Rankings update is here!!! We have added 25 new players in this update and tons have made some serious moves bettering their stock. We have been watching the 2025 class very closely throughout the entire high school and club season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone's recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be listed in the rankings due to their individual performances. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='435367' first='Alexis' last='Richards'] [2025] 5-9 Setter (HS: San Dieguito/Club: Wave/Verbal: American University)</strong></p>

<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Please officially welcome Miss Richards to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 33rd best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays at San Dieguito High School and for the WAVE volleyball club program. The American University commit is a fantastic leader on the court as a setter who can dish to all locations with great tempo. One of the best examples of the pace on the ball is how she is able to run forward for a pass that is slightly to the left side of the court and then push a slide behind her all the way to the antenna. Not all setters are capable of creating one on one match ups for their attackers, but I consider Lexie a master at being deceptive with her posture before contact while setting. She makes it look like she is going to go one way with the ball, but then dishes it to another set location to fool the blockers. It is this kind of next level thinking that propelled her to the top of our list. We are proud to have her listed on our State Ranking. Please help us congratulate her on her achievement of being listed amongst the great players of this state. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='538026' first='Maya' last='Coblentz-Brown'] [2025] 6-0 Right Side (HS: Tarbut V' Torah/Club: A4 Volley/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Please officially welcome Miss Coblentz-Brown to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 35th best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays for the A4 Volley club program. Maya is a high-flying opposite who can rip the ball with tons raw natural power. One of my favorite aspects of her play on the right side is how she is able to adjust her footwork with ease by taking longer approach steps when the ball is set just a bit inside of the antenna. Her long reach and long steps make it very easy for her to still have tons of power on her shot. Once the setter gives her an opportunity to swing line by pushing it all the way to the antenna, she will make the defense pay by obliterating the line. Her upper body is super strong on the blocking side of the ball also. She can be a shut down blocker who penetrates very well over the net. It is a coach's dream to have someone on the right side like her who can keep a defense honest and not cheating to one side. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our prestigious State Rankings. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='469430' first='Sarah' last='Shaw'] [2025] 6-2 Middle (HS: La Reina/Club: [program_tooltip program_id='510736' first='Sports' last='Academy']/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Please officially welcome Miss Shaw to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 36th best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She stars on the volleyball court at La Reina High School and also plays at the [program_tooltip program_id='510736' first='Sports' last='Academy'] volleyball club. Sarah is a long and lean middle who can reach extremely high due to her long arms. If for whatever reason, she is early on her approach or the setter accidentally sends the ball too high, Miss Shaw is able to still use her reach and hang time to save the shot. She drives her feet extremely hard into the ground, which helps to propel her forward and up for her vertical to be as high as it can be. This concludes with a very violent arm swing that can put a lot of pace behind the ball. She is a killer out of the middle and should be taken very seriously if she lines up against your squad. We will be watching her career continue to unfold and you should also. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our prestigious State Rankings. </p>
