The outsides get a lot of love in write-ups and stories. Today we will pivot and ensure the right sides get some press as we highlight the new additions to our 2026 rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='526583' first='Katie' last='Jelinek'] - Optimum Volleyball

Jelinek is new to the rankings after a productive spring on the right side for Optimum 16-1. She has displayed the ability to score points with cross-court shots and tooling the block. She enters the rankings for the first time at 80.

[player_tooltip player_id='542207' first='Grace' last='Lowry'] - Summit Volleyball

Summit Volleyball earned a bid to nationals with a talented group of players. Lowry is one of those players who can fill it up from the right side. She swings a heavy ball and I love her line shot. Another aspect of her game that impressed me is her blocking on the right side. She is a player who will see their ranking improve in August.

[player_tooltip player_id='542202' first='Hanna' last='Klein'] - Club North

Klein enters the rankings for the first time at 158. I'm not much into guarantees but we will read about her in the "Biggest Jump" article this fall. The southpaw can bring the pain with her attacks. She takes a great approach to the ball and has many shots in her toolbox. Her blocking is also above average.

[player_tooltip player_id='542220' first='Marlie' last='Karsten'] - [program_tooltip program_id='428799' first='Rockwood' last='Thunder']

Another lengthy left-hand opposite, Karsten will also see a higher ranking more than likely come August. She is a confident attacker who can find the floor and use the block for kills. We expect to see her jumping increase the older she gets which will give her even more of an advantage on the right side.

[player_tooltip player_id='542212' first='Nylah' last='Kalimullah-Story'] - Summit Volleyball

The Summit Volleyball right side is a prospect who is still figuring it out but she showed enough promise to make the rankings at 176. She has good size and power which is a good start. Her footwork and attack angles will improve as she plays more volleyball.

[player_tooltip player_id='542171' first='Sawyer' last='Hennigh'] - Invasion Volleyball

Hennigh has been strong for Invasion this spring on the right side. Her fast swing gets through the defense before they realize what happened. I like her approach towards the ball and she gets on top of it with a high reach. She will be a player we will keep an eye on through and beyond nationals.
