Our featured prospects attract attention and ‘likes’ from a diverse array of colleges, ranging from D1, D2, D3, NAIA, and JUCO. At PrepDig, we take a proactive approach, encouraging our athletes to actively participate in their recruitment exposure within our articles.
When a player earns the title of ‘Prospect to Watch,’ we reach out, extending an invitation to share their unique voice and perspective. We firmly believe that this transcends mere highlights, offering colleges a deeper understanding of the athlete as a whole. This article also offers players, parents, and coaches a window into the character of our prospects. It’s with great pleasure that I present to you the voices of some of our standout Prospects to Watch.
My name is Payton Durante Payton Durante 6’1″ | OH El Dorado | 2026 CA , and I am from Yorba Linda, California, and in the Class of 2026!
Versatility. Communication. Energy. Power. These are the traits I like to bring when I play volleyball! I am a 6’1 OH hitter who loves to be a leader on the court. My strong suit is that I am a versatile player than can provide power and a big block as an outside hitter but get scrappy on defense and give opponents trouble with my serve. My teammates are so important to me, so I try to be the best communicator on the court. I am working hard in the gym and on sharpening my block reading and dialing in my serving technique even more. I have big personal and developmental goals whether it be playing for my indoor team Balboa Bay Club 16 1’s, my high school team El Dorado High school, or even in sand pairs. Training. Teamwork. Tenacity. These three “T” words I like to live by.
My club team will be playing in the JVA West Coast Cup over Memorial Day weekend at the Long Beach Convention Center (May 25-27), also SCVA Championships (June 8-9), and then and at AAU Nationals in Orlando, Florida (June 21-24). I would love to have you come out and watch! My team and I have worked hard to make into the top 25 in SCVA in our age group. We are pushing to finish the season strong. Go Balboa Bay!

I’m Raelene Miguel, a class of 2026 Pin Hitter/DS from Las Vegas, Nevada. Last season, I played on varsity for Legacy High School, where we placed first in the 4A Lake division and came second in the 4A State Championships. Now, I’m on the 15 National team at Top Flight Volleyball Academy. At our recent qualifier, the Lone Star Classic, we earned third place in the USA division and secured a bid to USAV Nationals. Academically, I have a 4.45 GPA and rank first in my class.
On the court, I’m a versatile player, who is comfortable in almost any position. This flexibility allows me to fill any role within a team. As an undersized pin hitter, I use open spaces on the court to my advantage, aiming to stand out. Ever since I started playing 3 years ago, defense has always been my favorite skill to work on. Currently, I am working on solidifying my defensive moves, emphasizing my passing angles, and block timing. Most importantly, I focus on being a supportive teammate, always ready to cheer others on.
