Raelene, a pin hitter and defensive specialist, has been a breakout performer for the Legacy Longhorns this season. After spending much of last year as a DS and libero, she stepped into a new role as a hitter and has flourished. She leads the team in kills and kills per set, totaling 223 kills, 188 digs, and 36 aces. Producing 8 kills, 7 digs and 10 service receptions, Raelene made it a point to showcase her ability to move the ball around from zone to zone, maintain effective communication, produce smooth transitions, display great ability to read the defense and find the open floor. Raelene Miguel Raelene Miguel 5'7" | OH/DS/L Legacy | 2026 State NV came to play hard and displayed her passing skills in a very efficient way at the Top 250 Expo. As she competed with her team, she showed why she’s a purpose driven player. Several offensive attacks were kick-started by some of the best passes of the day that came from this 2026 prospect. Raelene is also a pin-hitter that approaches her passes with intent to score and while working the back row, she keeps the ball in play with ease. As she prepares for the next season of play, her desire to commit to the next level was evidently present at this showcase.

Raelene just wrapped up an amazing season at Legacy, where she spent most of her time as libero. She made some jaw-dropping saves and always seemed to be in the right place at the right time. During her school’s playoff run, she showed consistent hustle and determination in every match. Miguel has a wide range of elite passing techniques and gives it her all on every play. Even though she was introduced to me as a pin hitter who can score, she crushed it in the back row this season and served well, helping her team finish as the 4A State runner-up.

Raelene excels in multiple facets of the game—hitting, serving, and passing. She is one of the key contributors on the Legacy HS volleyball team. She’s a consistent standout and a true competitor who excels on the court. She can play all six rotations, hitting around and through blocks, but her back-row passing really took center stage this season. She has had over 195 successful passes on serve receive and 130 digs.
