2025 Stars From Ann Arbor Area, Part 2

You can get $10 off your registration when you sign up by using code “EllisDig2024.” Be sure to register today.</em></p>   <p>Ann Arbor is no stranger to seeing great athletic performances over the years.</p>   <p>When it comes to prep volleyball, the area is among the top contributors for elite talent in the state.</p>   <p>Here's the second part of our 2-part look at the top 2025 players coming out of the Ann Arbor area.</p>   <p><em>Players listed alphabetically</em></p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='156282' first='Jessica' last='Lee'], DS/L Skyline/L2</strong></h2>   <p>Lee has a lot of experience in big matches as a libero and that is coming through more and more for her in the later stages of her prep career. She's got a lot of composure and comprehension on the floor. Lee knows where to be and she reads hitters quickly to try and make difficult digs look routine. She's a strong communicator and directs her teammates well.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='288961' first='Mallory' last='McFarlane'], DS/L Saline/Michigan Elite</strong></h2>   <p>McFarlane has been one of the breakout defenders in the class over the last year. Her confidence is at a high level and it shows with her play on the court. She is consistently in great position and she's always engaged in the point. There's never a level of hesitation in her actions and it is why she is able to get to digs that many others can't.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='156326' first='Mallory' last='Reck'], RS Northville/Legacy</strong></h2>   <p>The Marist commit has been a very reliable option on the right side for Legacy, but she's also got a knack for making a key defensive play through her awareness and hustle. Reck has made a lot of strides in her game these last two years with more opportunities to shine. As her confidence has grown, her play has taken off by leaps and bounds.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='156325' first='Molly' last='Reck'], OH Northville/Legacy</strong></h2>   <p>The definition of a “gamer,” [player_tooltip player_id='156325' first='Molly' last='Reck'] leaves it all on the floor each matcha and its easy to see why she's already committed. The future Oakland Grizzly makes an impact in all phases of the floor and she's likely to make point or two each match that comes just from her hustle. She's got the all-around talent to catch fire as a hitter, server and passer.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='457339' first='Tia' last='Schultz'], OH Dexter/L2</strong></h2>   <p>A powerful left-handed attacker that stands 6'1”, Schultz brings a unique game to the floor. The Robert Morris commit has the wingspan to play a wide variety of shots at the net, and her left-handed power confuses the defense when she's able to take a big approach at the net. Schultz caught fire often last season for Dexter and will be a name to watch this fall for sure.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='191143' first='Sidney' last='White'], OH Saline/L2</strong></h2>   <p>White stays within herself on the floor and makes the smart play more times than not. She knows when to go to her power swing and when to just get the ball over the net. That same composure is exhibited in her defensive play, where she has a smooth pass and consistent timing with her blocking.</p>
