As I work on updating the Prep Dig Kansas Rankings this summer several outside hitters in the class of 2025 will look to climb the rankings ladder.

Here is a look at five ranked outside hitters being featured for the first time in a couple of months. Two of them are verbally committed to college programs and the other three, to my knowledge, are still looking for college homes.

I would like to remind ranked players to claim their Prep Dig player profiles if they have NOT done so. Unranked players can create their profiles on Prep Dig, and as players commit to college programs they can note that in their profile or share that info with me on X @KSScoutDeck.

[player_tooltip player_id='521830' first='Elle' last='Davis'], 5'11”, OH, Trinity Academy (Pictured Above)

Davis recently announced that she has verbally committed to play for Oklahoma Christian. She is ranked No. 41 overall in the Kansas Class of 2025 and is the No. 12 ranked outside hitter. She finished her junior season with 256 kills and can reach the 1,000-career total with 323 kills during her senior season. Davis played ball for the [program_tooltip program_id='430193' first='Kansas' last='Networks Volleyball Club']. The Trinity prospect plans on heading to Edmond, Oklahoma, to play for the Division II Eagles.

[player_tooltip player_id='173384' first='Jenna' last='McClure'], 5'8”, OH, Blue Valley North

McClure is currently ranked No. 47 overall by Prep Dig. She played club ball with Adidas [program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last=''] during the recent club season. She heads into her senior season needing 399 kills to reach the career threshold of 1,000 kills. The Mustang prospect finished with 250 kills in 96 sets as a junior. She is a six-rotation athlete who can also play defensive specialist. She has 1,448 career serve receptions and 635 career digs. She has verbally committed to play collegiately for Florida International.

[player_tooltip player_id='493417' first='Aubrey' last='Wisker'], 5'10”, OH, Salina South

Wisker is an athlete I saw play club ball multiple times this past winter. She came to Kansas from Denton, Texas, and is a prospect I highly recommend to college coaches. She is a physical specimen who will continue to evolve into a dominant front-row player. Wisker collected 250 kills in her first season with the Cougars. Her junior stat line included 169 digs, 29 blocks, and 32 aces. She is currently ranked No. 57 overall in the Prep Dig Rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='219737' first='Bella' last='Reid'], 5'10”, OH, Hayden

Reid is a dual-sport prospect that I should get the chance to see play in person again next week in summer tournament action. She is currently ranked No. 67 overall among her Kansas peers. Reid recorded 257 kills in 90 sets played during her junior campaign. She is a six-rotation athlete with solid defensive numbers that included 298 serve receptions and 259 digs. The Hayden prospect also plays guard for the Wildcats basketball squad and was an honorable mention athlete on the All-Deck 2025 Team at Prep Girls Hoops Kansas.

[player_tooltip player_id='349385' first='Ava' last='Esser'], 6'1”, OH, Seaman

Coaches wanting to add an athlete with a ton of winning experience should look at Seaman's Esser. The Viking outside hitter registered 168 kills as a junior for the Class 5A State Champion Vikings. She also finished with 17 blocks for Seaman. Esser is currently ranked No. 94 by Prep Dig and she should be a key contributor on a loaded Seaman team that will look to win another state title in 2024.
