And just like that, your AAU 15 Open National Champions have been crowned.

First, and foremost, congratulations to Mintonette M.61 on an extraordinary run to the championship. On an unprecedented 12-0 run to the championship, with an array of close calls along the way, this team prevails to win their THIRD National Championship.

This division's championship bracket was chock full of big time moments on the biggest of stages. With so many great performances throughout the day, I am narrowing it down to seven players of who would be on Line Shot's Dream Team at AAU Nationals.

[player_tooltip player_id='192132' first='Sara' last='Snowbarger'] - Mintonette

This is one of the top outside attackers in the 2026 class. If there were an argument about that before today, there certainly isn't anymore. Snowbarger had the tunnel vision for her third national title and was an electric force when it came time to turn on the wheels. Snowbarger was terminating at a great rate while playing some top notch back row.

Ashlyn Seay - Dallas Skyline

From one outstanding six rotation outside hitter to the next. In the championships, it came down to a battle between these two dynamos. Seay has really come into her own over the course of this season. She's passing at such an efficient rate that allows her team to operate at such the level they do. Meanwhile, Seay was making huge on her attacking opportunities.

Elena Hoecke - MN Select

This recent Minnesota commit was on fire all day. With a championship on the line, it was the net play of Hoecke that nearly did it in over the eventual champions in the semifinals. She brings such a strong force to the net that includes both her offense and her blocking. Hoecke is one tough blocker to withstand.

[player_tooltip player_id='227629' first='Alia' last='Schoonover'] - Mintonette

When you have a middle like Schoonover, opportunities just open up so well. Pulling blocks left and right, right when you think she wasn't going to, she would bury the ball into the sport-court. She brings so much pressure offensively, but Schoonover was equally as impressive in her blocking.

Taylor Clarke - Dallas Skyline

Get you a lefty like this on the right pin and it's a sure way to get you into a championship game. Clarke flies as high as the best and brings down the hammer. At the elevation she can leap to and at the velocity she can attack with, Clarke is a danger to many teams when she gets hot.

[player_tooltip player_id='227802' first='Mallory' last='Matheny'] - Mintonette

There's no wonder that thiss Mintonette team has just conquered their third national championships in their young careers. When you have a player like Matheny running the show, its always bound for success. Undeterred by the big stage and determined to grab her third trophy, Matheny was playing at a whole other level today. There's no wonder why she was also one of the first commits of the 2026 class.

Aylani Correa - GP Rox

This is a new player on to my radar and what better way to see her then when it matters most. This libero is absolutely lights out relentless. Whether she's taking a beating or chasing down the unthinkable balls. Correa makes the game go so well for GP Rox. So well so, I would attest that her defense and the gnarly serving of Catherine Palmi were two of the biggest factors in GP's huge upset over Legacy in the Elite 8.
