Southeast Michigan has some of the best players in the state for the Class of 2025.

There's six elite players that can hold their own with anyone, most of which are committed to play Division 1 volleyball in the following year. Here's a look at these six talents that are set to shine in the fall.

Players listed alphabetically

[player_tooltip player_id='185683' first='Alivia' last='Brown'], OH/DS Bedford/Legacy

Brown is a hitter/defender combo that can produce big numbers in both areas. She's a Bowling Green commit and has a chance to make a big splash for the Falcons due to her complete skillset. Brown moves very smoothly around the floor and squares up well to the ball when taking on a serve or attack. Offensively, she's got a wide range of shot speeds and angles and improving on her finishing rate.

[player_tooltip player_id='156292' first='Jessica' last='Costlow'], OH SMCC/Michigan Elite

A very polished player, Costlow has grown into a complete six-rotation player in the past few years and landed herself a home at the University of Toledo. Costlow has always been a technically sound hitter, that plays well above the net for her 5'11” frame and can hit all the tough angles. Where she's improved over the years is in her passing and serve receive. She's put herself in an elite category there as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='288945' first='Victoria' last='Gray'], MH Bedford/Michigan Elite

Gray has been one of the biggest breakout players in this class in the last 12-18 months. The 6'2” middle has shown she is a dominant force at the net, both with her powerful attacks and her imposing blocking. The Indiana University commit still has a high ceiling, as she can play at a very fast tempo and is tremendously explosive off the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='156321' first='McKenna' last='Payne'], DS/L SMCC/Michigan Elite

Payne is one of the most versatile players in the state. She's truly played almost every position on the court in her prep career and excelled at it. Where she's at her best is at libero and that is what has landed her a commitment to the University of Utah. Payne makes play in the back row look effortless. Often times it looks like she's on autopilot and her body just knows where it needs to go through muscle memory.

[player_tooltip player_id='156328' first='Samantha' last='Roffi'], S Garden City/Michigan Elite

Roffi is a player that leaves it all on the court. She's a scrappy defender that also battles hard at the net for the 50-50 balls. She mixes up the offense well at Garden City, but also does a good job of remaining unpredictable when she wants to call her own number. Her reaction time keeps improving and she's shown a lot of growth in her serve receive.

[player_tooltip player_id='261174' first='Kaylin' last='Schroeder'], S Bedford/L2

Schroeder is an Eastern Michigan University commit and she's looked really sharp this club season with L2. She's displaying a lot of good, and quick, reactions from her position. While she's got great touch and feeds her hitters a nice ball, her ability to quickly attack the defense is what really puts opponents on their heels. Her instincts are sharp and usually correct and she's not afraid to take chances.
