Of all of the teams that are descending on Las Vegas in July, and all of the teams from Indiana that are currently playing in Dallas, only one squad qualified through a USA division tournament. Tough and fiery, this squad of multitalented kids should be fun to watch in a few weeks.

If there was ever a team that had multiple kids that can play multiple positions at any one time at a high level, it's this roster. [player_tooltip player_id='435849' first='Alexis' last='Muegge'] ('27, 5-8 DS/L, Greenfield-Central) has worn the libero jersey for this squad, yet I know I've seen her attack on the pins for her high school squad. Playing with confidence and a sense of urgency, she's fun to watch and easy to coach. [player_tooltip player_id='478801' first='Vizma' last='Erkmanis'] ('27, 5-6 DS/S, Mount Vernon) has been everything from a three-rotation DS to a 5-1 setter. Smooth in serve receive and reading attacks well on defense, her anticipation is what makes her good. [player_tooltip player_id='435855' first='Bethany' last='Ring'] ('27, 5-8 S, Heritage Christian) is the full-time setter for this group, and locates the ball well for each and every player she sets. She also defends her position at an above-average level. There are a bunch of attackers I could talk about, but let's start with [player_tooltip player_id='435858' first='Ella' last='Mensch'] ('27, 5-11 RS, Heritage Christian). With length for days and a high attack point, she's gone over more blocks than through them, and is a tough out when blocking opposing hitters. [player_tooltip player_id='506252' first='Sophia' last='Farah'] ('27, 6-1 MB, Cathedral) is a big and physical M2 that hits a heavy ball and is hard to defend. Her transition is quicker than you think, and she defends the net from pin to pin with solid read-blocking skills and long strides. [player_tooltip player_id='513305' first='Mia' last='Zabel'] ('27, 5-11 OH, Hamilton Southeastern) looks and plays almost identically to Miss Mensch above, but uses her shot-making ability to put balls away. Give her a seam in the block, and she hammers it. Give line, and she'll chop a beach-like swing down the line. She can also receive serve when needed, and can hold her own on defense.
