Prep Dig Kansas released a major update to the class of 2028 rankings this morning.

The class now has 80 ranked athletes and includes 30 debuting athletes.

Here is a quick look at the top setters and liberos making their debuts in the rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='551350' first='Addi' last='Wisdom'], 5'8”, S, Maize

Wisdom debuts in the rankings at No. 15 overall. I saw Wisdom play this summer and she has elite skills that will play at the collegiate level. She has two older sisters playing with her at Maize and all three are versatile athletes who can play multiple positions.

[player_tooltip player_id='556362' first='Mette' last='Maxwell'], 5'7”, S, Ellinwood

Maxwell debuts in the rankings at No. 16 overall. I saw Maxwell play in summer action at Abilene. I was impressed by her athleticism and volleyball IQ. Her ball skills are extremely advanced for her age.

[player_tooltip player_id='551348' first='Kennedi' last='Baker'], 5'7”, S, Maize

Maize has another setter debuting in the rankings. Baker debuts in the No. 17 position. There is a chance that neither she nor Wisdom will play much as setters at the varsity level this season. Yet, both of them will manage to find playing time as they are too good not to utilize for a state-contending program.

[player_tooltip player_id='536308' first='Haedyn' last='Lynnes'], 5'4”, DS/L, Spring Hill

Spring Hill's Lynnes debuts in the No. 18 position and is now the top-ranked libero in the class. I saw Lynnes play in the MO/KAN Top 10 Tournament at Washburn University. She has quick feet and is expected to be an early contributor to the Broncos' varsity club.

[player_tooltip player_id='534906' first='Isla' last='Bray'], 5'5”, DS/L, Maize South

Maize South and Maize should have entertaining matches against each other this season. Bray is the third prospect from the Wichita suburb to enter the rankings. Bray debuts in the No. 19 slot.
