The talent brewing in this year's showcase is shaping up to be top notch! With players from across the state coming to one spot to show off what they got, we have ourselves a seriously fun event!</p>   <p>We've got a fun, growing list of middle blockers heading to UWM Sports Complex on August 3rd. Take a look at who's joining the party!</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='464378' first='Ava' last='Bush-Nelson'] - Jenison/FaR Out</h2>   <p>This is a player that can seriously contest to be one of the top middle blockers in Michigan by the end of her prep career. In a really big freshman year, [player_tooltip player_id='464378' first='Ava' last='Bush-Nelson'] left little time to cement herself as one of the top players in the 2027 class. This blocker had a huge fall with Jenison before lighting up with FaR Out 16 Black. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='442228' first='Avery' last='Thorp'] - Plainwell/FaR Out</h2>   <p>Another elite-in-the-making middle blocker from the FaR Out cannon, [player_tooltip player_id='442228' first='Avery' last='Thorp'] had a huge first season with her new club. Joining 15 Black this club season, Thorp saw herself playing significant minutes and making significant moves at the net. She is tough block and growing attacker. Thorp has also recently attended Colorado-Boulder's prospect camp as well!</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='490373' first='Kate' last='Colosky'] - Portage Central/FaR Out</h2>   <p>Opposite of Thorp, [player_tooltip player_id='490373' first='Kate' last='Colosky'] made up 15 Black's wicked 1-2 punch in the middle this club season. Colosky plays the game with a lot of speed and can score extremely well in front of the setter. This is another highly touted player who has had quite the busy summer with select camp stays at Auburn, UNC, NC State and Duke! </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='454393' first='Ryley' last='Pastuschyn'] - Richmond/Michigan Elite</h2>   <p>We saw this player spend the majority of time in the middle in her freshman year. I wouldn't be shocked if we see a shift to the pins soon. [player_tooltip player_id='454393' first='Ryley' last='Pastuschyn'] is the deceptive high flier in the middle. At 5'8, she fools a lot of opponents with her size. She has a big vertical and a heavy arm swing that throws off many. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='526729' first='Elizabeth' last='Nordstrom'] - Salem/Michigan Elite</h2>   <p>Opposite of Pastuschyn in the middle for Michigan Elite's 15 Mizuno this Winter, [player_tooltip player_id='526729' first='Elizabeth' last='Nordstrom'] has really come a long way from start to finish. Standing close to 6'0, Nordstrom brings some nice size to the net. She's developed a real nice all around game with both her attacking and blocking.</p>
