Prep Dig Kansas released new rankings this morning for the class of 2025.

That class now has 230 ranked athletes and 30 athletes are making their debuts in the rankings.

Athletes, parents, and coaches can click on the “How We Rank” story under the “Rankings” menu to learn more about the process of ranking players.

One factor that played a key role in this latest round of updates was the recruitment status of athletes. Almost every athlete in the Top 50 has received at least one college offer. As we get deeper into the recruitment process athletes receiving offers will climb the ranks, while unoffered prospects tend to drop.

I don't remove any athletes from the rankings, so players who have chosen other college sports to compete in or let me know they no longer are looking to play collegiality see significant dips in their ranking status.

While I strive for perfection, I also understand that mistakes and typos happen. If you have questions about the rankings or see a mistake please feel free to DM me on social media @KSScoutDeck or email me at deckscoutks@gmail.com.

Remember you attract more bees with honey than you do vinegar. If you send me a negative or rude email do not expect a reply. Also, keep in mind we do not update rankings on a week-to-week basis. Once an athlete is ranked in a spot, they stay there until the next round of rankings. We do attempt to update the rankings three to four times a year.

Here is the second of multiple reports covering the rankings update. It consists of eight prospects all debuting inside the Top 125 ranked players.

[player_tooltip player_id='512164' first='Sa'Lah' last='Anderson'], 6'0”, MB, Wichita East

Anderson debuts at No. 61. I first saw her compete at a club event in Wichita and was impressed with her athletic ability. She is a raw prospect who once she puts everything together could be a dominate middle. You will notice there are several middles in this scouting report as that continues to be the position that college coaches are always looking for.

[player_tooltip player_id='551296' first='Andrea' last='Hernandez'], 6'1”, MB, Wichita North

Wichita North's Hernandez debuts in the No. 65 position. I first spotted her game at the Butler Community College Summer Tournament in June. She is very athletic and is a quick hitter. She ranks just a few spots higher than another North teammate. The difference between the two is Hernandez's speed and ability to play some back row.

[player_tooltip player_id='495681' first='Cora' last='Daggett'], 6'2”, MB, Wichita North

Daggett debuts at No. 68 overall. She is taller and more physical than her Hernandez. She is a tick slower than Hernandez, but a better blocker. Like Hernandez I first watched Dagget play in Butler CC's Power Plant. I feel like the ceiling for both North prospects is probably the Division II level, but they could garner attention from smaller Division I programs.

[player_tooltip player_id='219712' first='Lily' last='Wahoff'], 5'11”, OH, Olathe East

Wahoff debuts at No. 74 overall. She is a power hitter with a big reach. She plays prep ball for Olathe East and club ball for [program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='PVA' last='']. Wahoff is a big jumper with a solid reach. She will be one of many prospects in the KC Metro area to keep track of.

[player_tooltip player_id='529788' first='Haydan' last='Walters'], 5'9”, OH, West Franklin

Walters makes her ranking debut at No. 112. She posted impressive numbers for the Falcons as a junior. She finished with 323 kills in 83 sets. Walters can also play solid defense recording 313 digs and 208 serve receptions last season. She has improved her number each high school season and could add solid depth to a college program.

[player_tooltip player_id='511553' first='Lillian' last='Stafford'], 5'11”, MB, Kapaun Mt. Carmel

I first saw Stafford play club ball for Shockwave. She has a physical frame and debuts at No. 112 overall. Her height and reach is what makes her dangerous. She could improve her stock by working on her speed and flexibility.

[player_tooltip player_id='506798' first='Addy' last='Schroeder'], 5'10”, S, Olathe South

Olathe South's Schroeder debuts at No. 119. She has solid all-around skills that would suit her to be a utility-type player in her first year out of high school. She can set, hit, dig, and has a dangerous serve. She played club ball with MAVS Volleyball last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='521187' first='Grace' last='Hoffman'], 5'3”, DS/L, Skyline

Hoffman is a defensive specialist who debuts in the rankings at No. 123 overall. She recorded 395 digs and 695 serve receptions during her junior season. The Thunderbirds were just a .500 team last season, so she is a prospect without a ton of eyes on her.
