Fans of volleyball looking to see some high-level talent this weekend need to head to Washburn's Lee Arena.

On June 12, sixteen teams from the Midwest will compete in the MO/KAN Jamboree a one day-tournament that begins with Pool Play matches beginning at 8:50 a.m.

Here is a preview of some of the loaded field which consists of state powers Seaman, Spring Hill, Circle, Beloit, and a total of 10 teams from Kansas.

Stay tuned to Prep Dig for coverage of this event as well as the two-day tournament at Washburn that begins on Saturday.

[player_tooltip player_id='349383' first='Maggie' last='Moulden'], 5'11”, MB, Seaman, ‘25

Moulden is an athlete I am quite familiar with, but I still don't think I have seen her best game. Seaman lost one of their top hitters from a year ago, so I want to see if Moulden steps up and becomes more involved in the offense. She is currently ranked No. 113 overall. Seaman opens Pool A play against Nixa, MO, at 8:50 on Court 1.

[player_tooltip player_id='563027' first='Molly' last='Martin'], 5'7”, OH, Hays, ‘25

Martin is an outside hitter from Hays I hope to catch tomorrow. She is coming off back-to-back seasons with 200-plus kills. The Indians begin Pool A action with an 8:50 match on Court 2 against McPherson.

[player_tooltip player_id='489345' first='Brooke' last='Doile'], 5'9”, MB, McPherson, ‘26

McPherson's squad was decimated by missing pieces when I ran across it last at Butler, so I am looking forward to hopefully seeing Doile and her Bullpups teammates Friday. Doile is ranked No. 47 overall in the class of 2026 and is coming off a sophomore season with 230 kills.

[player_tooltip player_id='733198' first='Taylor' last='Bolling'], 5'8”, OH, Wellsville, ‘27

Wellsville is a team that I have not seen play in person. They are a very young team coming off a losing season, so they are the wild card in this event. Bolling finished second on the team in kills as a freshman with 122. Wellsville starts its tournament with a Pool A match against Johnson County Central on Court 4 at 8:50.

[player_tooltip player_id='219714' first='Ayla' last='Klingenberg'], 6'0”, OH, Rock Creek, ‘25

Rock Creek's Klingenberg is currently ranked No. 26. I have yet to see the Six-Footer play in person, so she is high on my list of athletes to scout. She is coming off back-to-back seasons with 300-plus kills. Rock Creek opens Pool B play against Circle at 9:30 am on Court 2.

[player_tooltip player_id='493434' first='Katelyn' last='Paul'], 5'9”, OH, Circle, ‘25

Paul is currently ranked No. 147 overall by Prep Dig. I saw some of Circle's younger players compete at a tournament at Butler Community College. I hope to see the Thunderbirds varsity lineup in Topeka.

[player_tooltip player_id='493461' first='Sydney' last='Buscher'], 5'10”, S, Spring Hill, ‘25

Buscher will get the chance to play in front of potential fans of her future college team. The Spring Hill setter is verbally committed to Washburn. Spring Hill opens Pool B play at 9:30 on Court 1 versus Beloit.

[player_tooltip player_id='493498' first='Jaidyn' last='Follis'], 5'5”, S, Beloit, ‘25

Picking just one Beloit Trojan to feature is a difficult task. Follis is ranked No. 53 overall by Prep Dig. I want to see how her skills compare to the other elite setters who will be at the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='489761' first='Dylan' last='Nichols'], 6'1”, MB, Ottawa, ‘26

It's been a hot minute since I have seen Ottawa play. I am looking forward to scouting Nichols and the Cyclones. She recorded 58 total blocks and 234 kills as a sophomore. She is currently ranked No. 105 in the class of 2026. Ottawa opens up Pool B Play at 9:30 against Valley Heights on Court 3.

[player_tooltip player_id='557767' first='Ava' last='Smith'], 5'9”, OH, Valley Heights, ‘26

I saw Smith play earlier this summer in Abilene. She is currently ranked No. 53 in the Kansas Class of 2026. She is athletic and explosive. Valley Heights is in a tough pool and I want to see how Smith performs against elite talent.
