We are super excited to partner with USA Volleyball once again to run the official college recruiting showcase for the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championships. The first session was held on July 2nd at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. The one aspect that sets our showcases apart from every other one in the country is how we offer coverage, before, during, and after it is completed. This series of articles will discuss those special players that stood out for various reasons to our court coaches and scouts. They have won our prestigious Top Performer award. Let's meet the winners!

Mackenzie McDaniel [2028] 6-1 Right Side (HS: Santa Margarita/Club: OCVC/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Mackenzie is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet. She plays volleyball at Santa Margarita Catholic High School and also plays for the [program_tooltip program_id='429473' first='Orange' last='County Volleyball Club']. Miss McDaniel is a high-flying opposite who can do some serious damage at the net on both sides of the ball. With only being an incoming freshman this coming season, she showed that she belongs with the older girls during the showcase. Her court coaches mentioned how coachable she was and after I stopped by her court, I agreed. The main factor that you should be watching her for is that she is not done growing and getting better at her craft. I firmly believe that she has such a high ceiling to improve in this sport and will be a game changer for some program in four years. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award.

Bryn Neibaur [2028] 5-11 Outside (HS: Foothill/Club: Vegas Aces/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Bryn is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Nevada State Rankings, but that is only because they have not been released yet. She plays volleyball at Foothill High School and club for the Vegas Aces volleyball program. Miss Neibaur has an uncanny ability to drop bombs at such a young age. Due to her amazing ability to jump off of the ground super fast and super high, she is a kill waiting to happen. Her club team uses her frequently on purpose because she is a stone cold assassin on the pins. Blessed with natural athleticism, her moves look like she is a seasoned veteran. Because she can also play beach volleyball, her skills have blossomed quite well. Playing on the sand has made her all around skills skyrocket. The length in her arms create such a hard time for opposing attackers to score. As a blocker, I think she could be very special with how she penetrates the net to seal it away. We will be watching her very closely with what we saw from her at the showcase and you should also. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at the showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='479083' first='Alba' last='Canko'] [2026] 5-8 Setter (HS: Great Oak/Club: Forza1/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Alba is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Great Oak High School and club for the Forza1 volleyball program. Miss Canko was extremely special in delivering the ball to all of the hitters at the showcase. The immense power that she has in her compact frame is astounding. The ball is blasted out of her hands to the left side pin from any location on the court. On defense, her split step is super fast and creates amazing balance when digging. She also has a super quick first step to the ball when tracking it down from serve receive. Blessed with a crazy fast reaction time, there is never a ball that she cannot get to. I love how she jump sets the middle blocker creating timing issues for the blockers. She is not afraid to play front row either as she battles at the net regularly. There are many reasons why she earned this award, but I strongly suggest that you give her a few looks. Please help us congratulate her on earning the Top Performer award for this showcase.
