We are super excited to partner with USA Volleyball once again to run the official college recruiting showcase for the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championships. The second session was held on July 7th at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. The one aspect that sets our showcases apart from every other one in the country is how we offer coverage, before, during, and after it is completed. This series of articles will discuss those special players that stood out for various reasons to our court coaches and scouts. They have won our prestigious Top Performer award. Let's meet the winners!

[player_tooltip player_id='433626' first='Cadence' last='Negron'] [2027] 5-2 Libero (HS: Troy/Club: Waco Jrs/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Cadence is currently ranked as the 65th best overall prospect in the 2027 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Troy High School and also plays for the Waco Juniors volleyball club. Miss Negron is very well known by us at Prep Dig as she has attended our showcases before. We have also watched her perform all season long and she has wowed us with her play. During the showcase, her court coaches marveled at how fast she was moving around the court. Her footwork is very quick and very well-balanced. The way she communicates on the court proves just how valuable she is to any team she competes with. It adds so much more than just contacting the ball. This kind of back row leadership is the cornerstone of every great championship level team and that is exactly what you get with Cadence's presence on a court. We love the way she competes hard at her position and cheers on her teammates. Her attitude on the court was very present even though she was playing with players she has never met before. That just goes to show you that this is exactly who she is as a player and it should be commended. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award.

Brooke Badorek [2028] 6-1 Setter/Right Side (HS: Crean Lutheran/Club: Tstreet/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Brooke is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings, but that is only because they have not been released yet. She plays volleyball at Crean Lutheran High School and club for the Tstreet volleyball program. Every coach dreams of having a left handed, six-foot tall setter on their team to cause so many mismatch problems for opposing teams. Enter Brooke Badorek! This young lady has the frame and strength that you want in a 5-1 setter who can also battle at the net. I am very excited to watch this young lady grow for the next four years, because I saw a super high ceiling from her at the showcase. At this young age, it is amazing to see such a fierce competitor like her want to become better at her craft and have the desire to win every rally. That is exactly who we saw when we watched her at the showcase. As a setter, the ball comes out of her hands very smoothly and consistently. As a blocker, she possesses the drive to high-point the ball and shut down anyone. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at the showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='532638' first='Korynn' last='Mayo'] [2027] 5-10 Outside (HS: Marina/Club: United/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Korynn is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings, but is on our official Watch List. She plays volleyball at Marina High School and also for the [program_tooltip program_id='515277' first='United' last='Volleyball Club'] program. Miss Mayo had my attention when I watched her at one of our previous showcases this past qualifier season. She earned a top performer award then and to prove it wasn't a fluke, she earned another one at nationals. Many coaches admired her sheer power in her upper body and ability to move very well around the court. Armed with prototypical size and power, she is the type of outside hitter who can give you a double-double with kills and digs in every match she plays in. Her offensive performance during the showcase showed exactly how dynamic of an attacker she is. The way she rattled off kill after kill should have opened every college coach's eye that were in attendance. If you have not seen her play, I strongly suggest you put her name down in your short list of left sides to watch. Please help us congratulate her on earning the Top Performer award for this showcase.
