[player_tooltip player_id='215429' first='Asta' last='Hildebrand'] has been doing it all for Iowa City Liberty during her career. As a sophomore, she was the setter for the Liberty state championship team who won their first volleyball title as a high school and the first one at Xtreme Arena. As a junior she was able to set and attack where she was a triple double machine with assists, kills, and digs. She has an incredibly dynamic skill set. She will head to St. Cloud State who has been on the rise as a top D2 program in the Midwest as well as the entire country. They have build a solid Iowa pipeline where Hildebrand will join multiple Iowa athletes on the roster, including former teammate Shelby Kimm who will be a sophomore for SCSU.

[player_tooltip player_id='508627' first='Stella' last='Smith'] will be returning in the middle for Pleasant Valley where she plays with a physical style, a fast arm, and a high IQ. Seeing her courtside at the state tournament in 2023 and this past club season, she just found a way to score points and take up space with her block. She is the lone commit for this PV team, but this squad is loaded with future college level volleyball players.

There will be a strong presence from 17 National Division Champions, Adrenaline 17 Ben with [player_tooltip player_id='215389' first='Sydney' last='Maue'], [player_tooltip player_id='215385' first='Chloe' last='Meester'], and [player_tooltip player_id='215395' first='Dakota' last='Mitchell']. Mount Vernon is going to be a heavy favorite in Class 3A this year where they finished as state runner up in 2023. Meester is the top prospect in Iowa's Class of 2025 and will head to Louisville. She has been a state qualifier in volleyball, basketball, and track. Her athleticism is just different. On the right side is high flyer [player_tooltip player_id='215389' first='Sydney' last='Maue'] who is also one of the top high jumpers in the state. She contacts high and has a quick snap making it extremely tough for the other side to defend. [player_tooltip player_id='215395' first='Dakota' last='Mitchell'] will be suiting up for Mid-Prairie. She is so consistent as a libero who can serve receive, take pace off a hard swing, and put up a really nice second ball. Her fire and intensity on the court is contagious. Her Mid-Prairie team has a lot of pieces to the puzzle to have a big season.

Luxemburg-Casco out of Northeast Wisconsin is a traditional power at the Wisconsin Sizzle and will take their game to Coralville. Two incoming seniors who have had big success are [player_tooltip player_id='178231' first='Campbell' last='Onell'] and [player_tooltip player_id='229533' first='Isabella' last='Vander Velden']. These two have combined for plenty of kills and blocks. Onell was on the Luxemburg-Casco state championship team in D2 (Equivalent to Iowa Class 4A) where she is extremely lethal off a one foot takeoff. Vander Velden is a middle/right side combo player where she is extremely athletic and physical. She helps her side of the net in multiple ways and will be one to watch in the state of Wisconsin this season. She joins a strong group of athletes who have made their way to play in the NSIC, one of the top D2 conferences in the country.

The Class of 2026 is starting to make their mark in regards to plans after high school. [player_tooltip player_id='261094' first='Reese' last='Naeve'] was the first to commit from this class where she verballed to stay close to home and play for Iowa State. Iowa State has had great success with Iowa high school athletes who can play on the pin or out of the backrow. Naeve can score points and handle a high volume of swings. Regina will be a team to keep tabs on in 2A and with the likes of Naeve, they are never out of a match. [player_tooltip player_id='230661' first='Ellah' last='Derrer'] is a powerhouse of the middle and will stay in the Big 12 heading to Kansas State. She was a key player for Iowa Select 16 Mizuno and won a state title with Assumption her freshman season in 2022. Her presence is intense with her block and ability to score off multiple tempos out of the middle.
