The 2024 Michigan Stock Up Showcase was held in Pontiac with 100 prospects on hand from classes 2025-27.

It was a great event and a lot of prospects made a lasting impact.

Here's a look at what we saw from the 2025 prospects on hand, in alphabetical order.

[player_tooltip player_id='227580' first='Alyssa' last='Carson'], OH/MH Buchanan/Blue Niles

As a 6'2” hitter, Carson was very imposing at the net and made things difficult for her fellow hitters that went up against her. Carson uses her length really effectively. She times out her block attempts well and can play above the blockers when on the attack. Carson's footwork was at a high level as well. She used her quickness to give herself the best opportunities to put down a powerful attack.

[player_tooltip player_id='222646' first='Kyden' last='Ehle'], S Ovid-Elsie/MVBTA

Ehle was a quick setter that was willing to take some chances to showcase all that she could do on the floor. She showed that she can make a lot of athletic plays and find ways to put up a good set in tough situations. Ehle mixed things up as well and did a good job of attacking all the areas of the net. She gave her hitting peers every chance to succeed.

[player_tooltip player_id='156302' first='Finley' last='Helm'], OH Mt. Pleasant/Five:1

Helm was one of the standouts of the event, IMO. She looked comfortable everywhere on the floor and played under control, while still being aggressive. Her defensive play was a high point, but she also transitioned that into some explosive plays offensively. Helm may not get the attention of some of her peers, being in Northern Michigan, but she proved she can hang with the best on Sunday.

[player_tooltip player_id='261207' first='Sharayna' last='Luckie'], DS/L Lutheran North/Crank It

Luckie is a driven prospect that wants to be in on every rep and wants to get better. She showed a lot of growth in her consistency this showcase and showed a new level of composure in the back row. Luckie is an agile player, but she didn't rely on her speed and quickness to make clean passes, she stayed ahead of the play and got in good position while looking the ball into her arms. Her experience and growth as a player should lead her to a good fall season.

[player_tooltip player_id='156346' first='Ava' last='Oleski'], OH/MH Crowell-Lexington/Team 27

Oleski was very consistent in her approach to the net and in the power she delivered in her swings. She pops off the floor and seems to be able to pause in the air while waiting for the ball. That allows her to utilize an effective, vertical swing that zips off her hand. Oleski was a momentum player as well. Once she got rolling, she was tough to slow down.

[player_tooltip player_id='202486' first='Jonae' last='Swift'], MH/OH Cass Tech/FairPlay

Swift was another good energy player. She's been part of the showcase circuit and you can never question her work ethic and passion. Swift doesn't have the size and length of other middles and outsides, but she can really catch opponents off guard with her deceptive power. The ball is coming off her hand faster and faster each time we see her.

Je'Niah Whitley, DS/L Plainwell/USA Michigan

Whitley was everything you could ask for in a showcase prospect. She gave everything she had on each rep and each point. She brought great energy to the court that her peers fed off. Lastly, she was a supportive player as well, encouraging everyone around her. When it came to her play, Whitley did a nice job reading the ball on serve receive. When she wasn't able to make a play, she shook it off and bounced back on the next rep. Her positive mindset was a big strength.
