[player_tooltip player_id='490146' first='Kady' last='James'] – 5'6" – Appleton City

The Bulldogs are returning to a stacked team, and Kady will be in charge of the offense again. She finished with 762 assists to lead Class 1 2026 setters. The speedster will have a ton of offense to set, and her defense makes Kady a tough all-around top-notch Class 1 setter.

[player_tooltip player_id='490208' first='Alexa' last='Dillinger'] – 5'7” – Bernie

The youth movement in Class 1 has Bernie returning all but one from last year's squad. Alexa will now be running the show for the second time this season, and look for her to pass the 1500 assists mark early in the season. Great hands, is quick to the ball, and plays solid defense. Keep an eye on these Mules to push for a playoff berth.

[player_tooltip player_id='232323' first='Lexi' last='Lindsey'] – 5'6" – Winona

Lexi led her team to the final four in her first year, but she had to play a different role in her sophomore year and be a more offensive-minded setter. This year should be no different, but Lexi will pass the 2000 career assists in the first couple weeks of the season. Great hands, a high IQ setter, and a fierce competitor make Lexi one of the better setters in Class 1.

[player_tooltip player_id='735566' first='Tayleigh' last='Cowin'] – 5'4" – Ellington

Tayleigh split duties last year, running a 6-2, but should move into running the 5-1 this season. She has the smarts to feed the big hitters and has excellent hands when needed. She plays solid defense and watch as her assists total doubles this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='230385' first='Kyndall' last='Hitt'] – 5'4” – Advance

The two-time defending Class 1 champion will look a little different this season, but one thing that will be interesting is if it's Kyndall's time to take full reigns of the offense. In the 6-2 offense, she finished with 627 assists—a quick setter with excellent hands who should stay on the court full-time this season.
