We are wrapping up with our Class 1 players I think will leap this fall. These are players who contributed last season but with more action should eclipse their 2023 numbers.

Lily Rodriguez - L - Smithton - 2026

Smithton has a solid back row returning with a few players with good defensive numbers. I expect Rodriguez to elevate her play in 2024 in the libero jersey. As a sophomore, she dug up 245 balls which was good for 3.3 per set. Look for those numbers to jump in her junior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='485602' first='Reagan' last='Tenholder'] - MH - Archie - 2027

Tenholder's freshman season wasn't anything to sneeze about. She saw action in 70 sets and contributed 177 kills on 436 attempts. She is an agile middle-blocker who does many things well along the front line.

Kinley Luna - L/DS - Dora - 2027

Dora received good play from Luna as a freshman in 2023. She took the court in 58 sets and did her part by contributing just shy of 200 digs. Her totals put her right around 3 digs per set. She should be much stronger this fall after a season of varsity ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='490216' first='Kinsley' last='Bogenphol'] - S/RS - Oak Ridge - 2026

Bogenphol is poised for a big junior year after showing her ability to affect the games in numerous ways in her second year of varsity ball. When in the setter position, she dished 376 assists on the year. When she rotated to the opposite position, she delivered 142 kills. I can easily see both numbers closer to 250 and 500 this fall. Word on the street she's solid in the circle during softball season.

Alaina Cates - MH - St. Vincent - 2026

St. Vincent is banking on Cates having another good season in her junior year. She showed she could be a different maker in the middle for the Vincent offense and defense. She collected 170 kills on only 431 attempts. If those numbers get closer to 600, expect closer to 300 kills in 2024.
