A lean, mean volleyball machine for the Dragons. A high flyer, a tenacious attacker with a powerful swing. Ashley sees the block extremely well and exploits the holes in the defense. She has a deadly line shot, plays terrific on defense, is a top passer, and can attack from anywhere on the court. Ashley is a brutal attacker and hard to stop, and will be a force again this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='469947' first='Malia' last='Stolte'] – 5'6” – Hannibal

The Pirates have one tough pin hitter who plays setter as well. She is a heady attacker with some big, powerful swings. Malia is a three-sport star at Hannibal. She helped run the offense on the volleyball team and hit the opposite—a pure athlete who uses her quickness to her advantage. A tremendous vertical and hang time allows her to be a successful hitter, finishing last year with 246 kills.

[player_tooltip player_id='222578' first='Georgia' last='Hite'] – 5'11” – Burroughs

She was hampered by injury last year, but I'm expecting more big things from her this year: a fantastic passer, a mighty swing, and a big-time competitor.

With her on the court, the Bombers are a legitimate playoff team. Georgia had a career-high 31 kills in a four-set win over Clayton last year.

Hannah Jennings – 5'8” – Parkway West

Jennings was a big part of the success at Parkway West last year. Last year, she stepped into the outside position and was mainly an offensive threat. She did a great job ending third on the team in kills with 204. Hannah is a savvy player who works hard with each play. She fed off her teammates, and I'm looking forward to seeing her possibly step up into a six-rotation outside.

[player_tooltip player_id='357575' first='Anna' last='Ashby'] – 5'9” – St. Pius X (KC)

Playing second fiddle is no longer for Anna; she will step into a more prominent role this season. Mainly the opposite of last year, her moving to a six-rotation outside is a strong possibility. A nice arm swing with power and her family genes would suggest she becomes a dynamite outside.
