Blue Valley Southwest lost a two-set jamboree match against Washburn Rural on Tuesday night, but this team is loaded with college-level talent and should be in the hunt for a state title.

Here is a look at four Timberwolf prospects I enjoyed watching during the match.

[player_tooltip player_id='173370' first='Kaylee' last='Tingey'], 5'9”, DS/L, Blue Valley Southwest, ‘25

Tingey is ranked No. 92 overall and extremely under-ranked. She has verbally committed to play for BYU after high school. She plays defensive specialist and libero for her club team but hits for Blue Valley Southwest. She had a dominant match posting four kills, six serve receptions, and three digs. She is a high-flyer and I liked her game.

[player_tooltip player_id='222097' first='Taylor' last='Stanley'], 6'1”, OH, Blue Valley Southwest, ‘26 (Pictured Above)

Stanley is ranked No. 1 overall in the Kansas Class of 2026 and verbally committed to play for Kansas University. She did not play the first set for Southwest but had two kills in the second set. She is tall and athletic. She is a six-rotation player who can lead a team full of impact players.

[player_tooltip player_id='222092' first='Willow' last='Weninger'], 6'1”, RS, Blue Valley Southwest, ‘26

Weninger is ranked No. 6 overall in the class of 2026 and is still uncommitted. She arguably had the best match for the Timberwolves. I had her with four kills, and she is physically intimidating as a hitter. She has a sneaky serve with late dive and she hits the ball hard.

[player_tooltip player_id='472938' first='Hailie' last='Vaughn'], 6'0”, OH, Blue Valley Southwest, ‘26

Vaughn is ranked No. 23 overall and has verbally committed to Princeton University. She had five kills for Southwest in the loss to Rural. She played quality defense and made consistent first passes off her serve receptions. The key to her game is her quickness, and she has a nice receiving platform for a six-footer. Vaughn plays club ball with [program_tooltip program_id='515466' first='Pohaku' last=''] along with Weninger.
