We released our new-and-improved class of 2026 rankings yesterday morning, and now have north of 230 players on our list. Of those 19 have earned commitments to their future homes for that fall. Here are five that have improved so much that they earned commitments from schools well above where their initial ranking had them.

[player_tooltip player_id='221477' first='Isabelle' last='Masten'], 5-7 DS/OH, Tri-West, Pittsburgh commit

Izzy is the perfect example of what I was saying yesterday about knowing your position at the next level. Listed initially as a six-rotation outside, there is no doubt that Miss Masten is fully capable of being "her" at the level she currently plays. With the added beach training and the successes that come with it, Izzy's passing has become second to none, earning her a nod from Coach Fisher at Pitt. There really aren't any six-rotation, 5-7 outsides playing for any of the four Power 4 conferences, but her ball handling is DEFINITELY a calling card for her. By solidifying a realistic position at the next level, she earned the biggest jump in our rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='260998' first='Ellie' last='Hepler'], 5-6 DS/L, Warsaw, Indiana commit

The Hoosiers are stockpiling first-class defenders from the state of Indiana in a hurry. Current libero Ramsey Gary (Munciana) is a Pendleton Heights grad. With the addition of Emma Segal (Frontier HS, Boiler Juniors) in the class of '24, Ellie is continuing the line of outstanding defenders and serve receive specialists coming from the Hoosier State. Everything in a Power 4 conference happens because of exceptional ball control, and Ellie is more than capable of continuing that fact in Bloomington.

[player_tooltip player_id='301391' first='Madison' last='Brown'], 5-9 S, Noblesville, Miami (OH) commit

The quintessential workhorse setter, Miss Brown has been on the grind for a few years now, playing everywhere and training everywhere else. She produces consistent enough numbers to be able to rewrite all of the setting records at Noblesville High School, all while playing in the toughest volleyball conference and sectional in the state. Add in that Academy training from this past spring, and you can see why she earned the commitment with coach Gwitt at Miami. Fully capable of being a 5-1 or a 6-2 setter, her work ethic got her here, and her future looks bright.

[player_tooltip player_id='413233' first='Reagan' last='Turk'], 5-5 DS/L, Roncalli, West Virginia commit

At Libero....I mean, Roncalli High School, defense isn't just a position, it's a lifestyle. Current libero for defending national champion Texas, Emma Halter, is from Roncalli. Aly Kirkhoff, also from Roncalli, is on the roster at LSU. Reagan is the current libero at Roncalli, with a stable of defensive specialists right behind her. Miss Turk earned this commit through relentless work ethic and training at the highest possible level, which is exactly what it takes to get here.

[player_tooltip player_id='210189' first='Bre' last='Morgan'], 5-11 MB, Hamilton Southeastern, Memphis commit

I'm going to be honest---I didn't see this commit coming. Yes, Bre can absolutely jump out of the gym, and is a highly coachable kid with a solid and consistent work ethic. At Boiler Juniors last spring, she saw a good amount of playing time, but was under the recruiting radar because of all of the high profile players around her on that 16-1 squad. Fast forward to this summer, and Memphis is proving that they REALLY like middles from HSE, with '24 grad Tiffany Snook already on the roster. Continuing the line of long and lean middles from HSE, Bre is fast, athletic and a difference maker on a team going for their third consecutive state championship this fall.
