Katy-Cy Fair Tournament: Outside Hitters

The outside hitter is the team's main offensive weapon and was set quite often at the left, the right and the middle back positions, scoring at a good rate by using her explosiveness and solid decision-making. Martinez also seems more engaged and active defensively, generating several transition plays with her digs at the back. A very technical player, she handled her passing duties extremely well and helped keep the team in system. Sharrett also displayed an efficient offensive game, getting off the floor well and finding great solutions to difficult situations. An extremely athletic player, she's one of the top offensive players in the entire state and is very difficult to stop with her combination of size, physical strength and technical resources. Coleman has continued to develop her ball control and her defensive game over the years and is now an extremely reliable passer, who plays a major role to her team in serve-receive. Her vertical is impressive and she's been getting better at making the most of her physical tools over the years, turning into a reliable and dependable scorer. Pike is very efficient on the left and developed a great ability to swing from the middle back position too, adding a new element to the team's offense. Her length helps her tremendously offensively as it allows her to beat blockers with her high contact point or to tool them when she can't go around them - she displayed a vast set of options to hit from the left.
