Pins to Know from the Freshman Showcase

She really caught my eye with her shots. Jilly was savvy with her swings and always worked to find the court on the opposite side of the net. At 6'2" she takes up a lot of space at the net and can contribute in a huge way on offense and defense. She is an athlete who can take massive rips on the ball but seems to make great choices with her placement at the same time. She is already 6'0" and is playing very high-level volleyball. Her volleyball IQ is through the roof and she is incredibly efficient on the court. Her explosive approach allows her to absolutely soar. She has a lot of power and can swing well around blocks. Finnley's swing packs a punch, and she is a solid all-around player. She was powerful, explosive, and smart, a very hard balance to find as a pin hitter. She took big rips on the ball but also knew when to find smart shots. She was so solid in all-around play. Mia shined during the scrimmages because she was such a positive asset on the court. She is just solid in everything she does. From offense to serve receive to defense, Nora brought consistency and competitiveness to the court at the Freshman Showcase.
