[player_tooltip player_id='156288' first='Aubree' last='Calloway'], Sr. MH Bronson

Calloway is putting the ball at a high rate for Bronson this season. The senior middle is hitting around .400 while helping the Vikings stay right in the mix in D3. This past week, she recorded 59 kills to put her over 100 on the season. Along with her attacking ability, Calloway is always a big presence at the net with her blocking.

[player_tooltip player_id='227666' first='Ella' last='Deklyen'], Sr. OH Tri-Unity Christian

Deklyen is compiling kills by the bunches thus far in 2024. Last week she tallied 28 kills in a win over NorthPointe Christian. This was coming off a 33-kill performance against Potter's House Christian. Deklyen is putting the state on notice that she wants to be one of the top kills leaders in the state, regardless of division.

[player_tooltip player_id='226895' first='Jillian' last='Ferrill'], Jr. OH/S Lake Fenton

Ferrill is taking a big step with her play this season. Last week we saw one of her best performances yet. In a three-set sweep of Owosso, Ferrill had 20 kills while hitting .500. She also had three aces and two blocks. Ferrill has been leading the Lake Fenton offense this season with 110 kills. She's still recorded 30 assists, but is proving to be a dominant finisher.

Megan Glass, So. MH Hudsonville

The Eagles had some nice wins last week, including a five-set win over Grand Rapids Christian. Glass came through in a big way, producing in all aspects. She had 12 kills while hitting .333, added four aces, two blocks and six digs. On the year, Glass is leading Hudsonville in kills with 104 while hitting .343.

[player_tooltip player_id='156299' first='Olivia' last='Grenadier'], Sr. MH Country Day

The Miss Volleyball finalist missed a large portion of the 2023 season due to injury. She's making the most of her senior year, putting up impressive numbers for DCD. The middle put down 13 kills while hitting .476 in a sweep of Adams last week. She's at 73 kills on the year while hitting an impressive .406. She's also tallied 51 digs, 20 aces and 14 blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='553151' first='Ashlyn' last='Pelon'], Fr. L/DS Marian

Pelon has been one of the notable freshman standouts early in the 2024 season. She's putting on the libero jersey for the Mustangs and stepping up. Pelon has 132 digs thus far in 2024 and she put up a solid 13 digs in a two-set win over Bloomfield Hills last week, as part of a 4-0 week for the Mustangs. She's also contributing from the service line with 23 aces.

[player_tooltip player_id='732246' first='Ella' last='Swoish'], Sr. L/DS North Branch

Swoish was very patient for her opportunity to shine for North Branch, as she was behind one of the best defenders in the state. But, this is her fall to breakout and she's doing that so far. She's already nearing a career-high in digs with 164 this season. She's also picked up 21 aces from the service line. The Broncos are still a top contender in D2 despite massive graduation loss. That speaks to the play of Swoish and being able to keep the offense in-system.

[player_tooltip player_id='454358' first='Lily' last='Tripi'], So. S Eisenhower

Eisenhower has let the state know it's going to be in the D1 mix this fall. Last week, Ike got wins over Bloomfield Hills, Bedford and Lake Orion while taking a set from Mercy as well. Tripi, the 6'1” setter, has been very well-balanced in her play. She had over 20 assists in all five matches the team played while making an impact from the service line and defensively. She's got 458 assists, 106 digs, 49 kills, 17 aces and nine blocks on the year.

[player_tooltip player_id='456251' first='Alexa' last='Turner'], So. S SMCC

[player_tooltip player_id='456251' first='Alexa' last='Turner']

The Kestrels are picking up some impressive wins over bigger programs early in 2024. While the team has a lot of experience we know, Turner is a sophomore setter that is making a name for herself this fall. She put up 19 assists in a win over Riverview late last week and is already approaching 250 for the season. SMCC is hitting at a high rate and Turner's play gives the Kestrels a lot of flexibility with the lineup.

[player_tooltip player_id='467901' first='Mallory' last='Wandel'], So. OH Rockford

The Rams picked up six solid wins last week, including victories over Grand Haven, Byron Center, Caledonia and South Christian. Wandel was very consistent in the victories, racking up double-digit kills in each one for a total of 68 on the week. She also had 18 digs and 12 blocks to be impactful with her defense as well.
