[player_tooltip player_id='694786' first='Ada' last='Grzella-Skibiski'] – 5'8” – Outside - Battle

The six-rotation outside for the Spartans is off to a great start to her career. She is third in kills with 76, fourth in digs with 65, and one of the team's top passers. Ada is helping Battle have one of the best seasons in school history. Her season high for kills is 12 and 13 digs.

Sydney Stranghoener – 5'8” – Outside – Pattonville

Sydney is being asked to fill in some massive shoes on the outside, but she has a great mentor from whom to learn. She is still raw, but there is potential for her to be a top outside hitter for the Pirates over the next few years.

[player_tooltip player_id='545001' first='Zoey' last='Zweifel'] – 5'10” – Middle – Summit

When Zoey is on, she is a tremendous asset to her team. In the team's five-set win over Pattonville, the middle made enormous blocks and kills to help her team pull off the reverse sweep. In the 5th set, Zoey came up with a big stuff block and a timely kill to help the Falcons get the win.

Skyla Moore – 5'10” – Middle – Bolivar

Starting varsity can overwhelm players, and Skyla fills a void for Bolivar. Although Skyla isn't a major offensive threat right now, she is doing a solid defensive job in the middle. She has more blocks than kills, and that's the role she plays for the Liberators. Keep an eye out for Skyla because she will develop into a significant threat offensively as much as defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='778336' first='Charlotte' last='Fischer'] – 5'10” – Middle – Francis Howell Central

Another raw middle who could be a big player for the Spartans. Playing middle in Class 5 is tough, and Charlotte holds her own. She is not used as much as an offensive threat, but she is making herself known defensively.

Izzy Chao – 5'10” – Outside – MICDS

With 163 kills on the season and 150 digs, Izzy is 2nd on the team in kills and 3rd in digs. She is a solid passer and defender but does her damage at the net. Izzy is helping her team start 13-8 with a big-power approach and powerful swing. Her season-high for kills is 17 in a 5-set loss to Ladue.

Kendall Lay – 5'9” – Setter – MICDS

Lay is part of a trio of 2028 players for MICDS who's getting significant playing time and making the most of her time on the court. She is the second setter on the team and should slide into the starting role next season after some more experience. MICDS should be a competitive team over the next several years. In a sweep of Ritenour, Lay had a career-high 19 assists.
