The junior outside hitter returns after a productive season for Battle a year ago. She made the move to a top Kansas City club this past season, where she played well in the DS role for an Open-level team. Her arm will once again be an important part of Battle’s attack this fall, and the break from a demanding club season could prove beneficial as she heads into another high school season. She was just shy of 300 kills a year ago and had over 400 digs.

As with Stack, many would consider Grzella-Skibiski undersized at only 5’8″, but her talent and ability to score are undeniable, and for that, she lands in our tenth spot. The Battle and Missouri Juniors ‘] player stood out to me this spring. The area of her game that impressed me the most was that she wanted the ball when her team needed to score. She’s not afraid of the moment and has a level of confidence you love to see in young pins.

The Battle freshman navigated her first year and found success on the floor from the outside position. She had a season-high 14 kills performance in a September win over cross-town foe Hickman. Her season ended with 169 kills and 151 digs.
