Robinson uses her athleticism to move her feet and track down balls. Robinson makes quick decisions to put her hands up or move her arms to square up passes and set up the Oak Hills offense. She can move up quickly to dig softer hits. She leads the Greater Miami Conference with 184 digs and is second with a 2.43 passer rating.

Ostendorf has more than 1100 assists in her career including 567 last year, but her role seems to have changed more to hitting this year. Ostendorf has a strong swing from the left side. She takes great approaches to the net with a good fake if the ball does not come her way. Ostendorf can angle balls off blockers and out of bounds. She makes quick recoveries to pass tipped balls then quickly transitions to offense. Ostendorf leads the league with 136, which is just five away from her career-high of 141 set as a sophomore last year.

Helmes does a great job controlling the net for the Comets. She hits balls off blockers and does a nice job going from defense to offense. She sees the floor and nicely smacks balls away from solid defenders. Helmes can take back sets and hit them to the sides. She also had outstanding timing on her blocks. Helmes has 100 kills and 24 blocks on the season.

Sanders has been a bright spot for the Firebirds. She makes things happen from the strong left side. She can record kills from all six spots on the floor. She consistently hits balls off blocks and takes things off to land them between defenders in the back row. Sanders ranks third in the GMC with 103 kills.

Navey may be flying under the radar a bit with the Big Blue. Navey constantly finds ways to hit balls all over the court. She might set her feet to go one way, but can adjust her hips and body in the air to angle the ball another way past defenders. Navey is second in the GMC with 117 kills.
