<p>Winona sprints to the top of my rankings after winning the Dig for Life Tournament and knocking off Advance 25-23, 25-12. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='232323' first='Lexi' last='Lindsey']</strong> is leading the team, having passed 2000 career assists.</p>

<p>2. <strong>Advance Hornets 6-3-2</strong></p>

<p><strong>Cashlynn Sturgeon</strong>, a 5'7" 2027 player, is making her mark early this season with 19 kills. Advance escaped Bell City, winning in the 5<sup>th</sup> set 15-5—a loss to Winona, the only Class 1 school to beat Advance in the last two seasons.</p>

<p>3. <strong>Jasper Eagles 9-1</strong></p>

<p>They are taking their first season loss in the Frontenac, KS tournament to the hands of Pittsburg, KS. 2026 <strong>Aspen Lehman</strong> is making enormous contributions to the team with 52 kills.</p>

<p>4. <strong>Bismarck Indians 11-2-1</strong></p>

<p>2026 <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='236994' first='Ashley' last='Hawkins']</strong> leads the Indians in kills with 131 and a strong showing at the Dig for Life Tournament. Class 4 teams Potosi and Hillsboro are the only two losses for Bismarck.</p>

<p>5. <strong>Concordia Fighting Orioles 6-0</strong></p>

<p>They are off to a slow start in matches played, but the Fighting Orioles are 15-1 in sets played. 2025 <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='493072' first='Olivia' last='Hemme']</strong> is the team's kill leader with 60.</p>

<p>6. <strong>Clarkton Reindeer 10-2-1</strong></p>

<p>With a loss to Class 5 Poplar Bluff and then a 1-2 loss to Bismarck, the Reindeer are still a team to keep on your radar. <strong>Nayely Rivera</strong> keeps the team moving by leading the team in digs and 2<sup>nd</sup> in kills.</p>

<p>7. <strong>Bunker Eagles 5-2-3</strong></p>

<p>The Eagles' only losses are both sweeps to Winona and Portageville. The Barton sisters are tops in kills, with 68 for <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='236987' first='Kinsey' last='Barton']</strong> and 25 for 2028 <strong>Kara Barton</strong>. A big match with Bismarck and Lesterville looms next week.</p>

<p>8. <strong>New Haven Shamrocks 9-2</strong></p>

<p>New Haven plays larger schools all season in conference, and the two losses have come to the hands of Class 5 power Borgia and Hillsboro, who won the Black Division at the Dig for Life Tournament. <strong>Avery Strubberg</strong> has 75 kills to date.</p>

<p>9. <strong>Leopold Wildcats 9-2-1</strong></p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='735557' first='Piper' last='Lincoln']</strong> and her heavy arm have Leopold in the rankings with 63 kills. Woodland knocked off the Wildcats 2-3, and Hillsboro won 0-2 during the Dig for Life Tournament.</p>

<p>10. <strong>Bernie Mules 5-3-3</strong></p>

<p>The Mules lost to Bismarck 1-2 at the Dig for Life Tournament and have a loss to Advance early in the season. They have wins over Bell City and split with Leopold. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='737672' first='Bailey' last='Henry']</strong> has been the go-to attacker for the Mules.</p>
