<p>Woll is a force on the Wildcats' left pin and a heady player. She is savvy with her finesse but can blow the heat through the block or hit a mean line shot. She is on pace to pass her 226 kills from last season, having 74 early in the season.</p>

<p>I saw firsthand what Mallory does for her team. In a sweep of Visitation, Mallory had 13 kills and did this playing sparingly—a tough player who shows her emotions for her teammate's success. Outstanding on defense and passing, I could see Mallory playing libero at the next level.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='776729' first='Ava' last='Schuette'] – 5'10” – Howell Central</strong></p>

<p>Some teams rebuild, and then those like Howell Central reload. Ava had a nice season last year, but this year she will shine. A heavy arm allows her to wreck the block, and she also can play tough defense and is a primary passer.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='540300' first='Mara' last='Peterson'] – 5'9 – Marquette</strong></p>

<p>Mara is enjoying her final year at Marquette and playing the best early on. She is a solid opposite who puts up a nice block and can hit a great line shot with a lot of power. With 15 kills, she will pass her career, totaling 23 from last year.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='540285' first='Ava' last='Renner'] – 5'8” – Rock Bridge</strong></p>

<p>Ava's a ball bouncer who loves making her blockers look silly by slamming the ball line on the right pin and hitting a sharp crosscourt on the left. Ava already has more kills this season than all of last season.</p>

<p><strong>Jaidyn Brunnert – 5'6” – Carthage</strong></p>

<p>The lefty swings on either side, so don't let her size fool you—a big leaper with a whip of an arm. Jaidyn also helps run the offense in the 6-2, which makes her a stat stuffer for the Tigers.</p>
