Simple. Who are the players who are new to me and are starting the season hot? Let's go!

Payton Osegueda - Park Hill - OH - 2028

I got my first look at the freshman last week and she has next! At what looks to be around 6' to 6'1", She is a force on the pin and has helped Park Hill to a strong start. She has 51 kills and averaging 3.4 kills per set.

[player_tooltip player_id='778340' first='Kenzie' last='Huhman'] - Lee's Summit North - OH -2028

I saw another young pin, Huhman in action this week and was impressed with her poise on the court. While she isn't putting up jaw-dropping numbers, she has shown she will be a good player in the city for years to come. She is currently leading the team in digs, picking up some of the slack for the Broncos who are playing without a top defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='729456' first='Miah' last='Omoike'] - Platte County - MB - 2028

I said in my conference previews, that this is a season Platte County would be in a rebuild versus a reload. Well, I may have spoken too fast with the emergence of Omoike. She is showing she will be the next great player to walk the Platte County hallways. In 23 sets played she has picked up 57 kills and hitting .358 on the young season. She also has 20 blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='612171' first='Peyton' last='Creed'] - Nixa - S - 2028

Nixa rolls with a two-setter system and Creed, the freshman setter is currently leading the team in assists just shy of 100 thus far. The 5'7" setter has displayed good decision-making in spreading the ball around to her many capable attackers. Nixa is off to a 4-1 start.

[player_tooltip player_id='732896' first='Allie' last='Stockdale'] - Plattsburg - OH - 2027

An hour north of Kansas City, Plattsburg is getting good play from a player new to me in [player_tooltip player_id='732896' first='Allie' last='Stockdale']. The outside hitter currently putting down over 3 kills per set. The even more impressive stat is she is getting kills at a 70% clip. Get the ball to her and it's a high likelihood it's going down.

Kendyl Edwards - East Buchannan - S - 2027

Up I-29 north of St. Joe and along some side roads you'll make your way to Gower, Missouri where sophomore setter Kendyl Edwards is wheelin' and dealin'! She is doing so to the tune of 10 assists per set for a total of 178, in only 18 sets played.
