Fantastic Texas Freshmen – Vol. 1

An extremely athletic outside hitter, she has been performing at a very high level for the Mustangs, especially on offense, showing she can help carry the team's scoring load. Bello can jump out of the gym, swings as hard as anyone and makes excellent choices up at the net - the fact that she has a special connection with the team's starting setter and her older sister, [player_tooltip player_id='268779' first='Zora' last='Bello'], certainly doesn't hurt. An extremely technical player, she's been mostly subbing in for the team's right side hitter on the backcourt, but has stayed on the court at the net on some occasions as well. Lopez's defensive skills are truly impressive and her presence on the court has given her team great volume as she contributes with reliable passing and numerous digs. A lefty, she's extremely precise and creative and runs the team's offense in a very dynamic and efficient way. Despite being very young, Glynn seems to be extremely mature and to have a high volleyball IQ based on some of the decisions she made when under pressure and not having a lot of time to weigh her options.
