Pace Setters: 2026 Kansas Setters Dishing The Molten

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Multiple junior setters are in their first seasons as starting setters and others posting solid numbers in their second season as starting setters.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here is a look at five-setters in the Kansas class of 2026 setting the paces for their respective prep team's offenses.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='489775' first='Brynna' last='Zoeller']</strong>, 5'11”, S, Rock Creek, ‘26</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Zoeller is currently ranked No. 146 overall in the class of 2026. She unofficially leads junior setters in Kansas with 399 assists in 38 sets played. I saw her play club ball last season and she is a physical setter. She also has 52 kills and 15 blocks for the Mustangs. Rock Creek has already played 19 matches and has a record of 16-3.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='489668' first='Meka' last='Jennings']</strong>, 5'4”, S, Arkansas City, ‘26</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jennings is currently an unranked setter, but she has the Arkansas City offense clicking on all cylinders. She has recorded 286 assists in 34 sets for the Bulldogs. She has an accurate serve that has resulted in 27 aces. She finished with 35 assists as a sophomore, so she is on pace to possibly double up that total. She has tallied 282 assists in 33 sets for the Eagles. She finished with 834 assists as a sophomore in 106 sets played. Kirk is going to blow past her sophomore season total of 290 assists. In 23 sets played this season she already has recorded 218 assists.
