The Bulldogs knocked off one of the state's top 4A teams, Lewis Central, 2-0, in the opening match. They couldn't build on that, however, falling against the host, Ankeny Centennial and Regina. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bettendorf boasts a talented roster. She's reached more of her potential since then, and there's plenty of room to grow before hitting the ceiling. Nagle is an athletic middle hitter with explosiveness off of the court, an impressive vertical leap and a swing that generates plenty of power. She's in sync with her setters, helping her to maximize her opportunities. Wade is effective when receiving a clean chance and can use her vision to find holes in the defense. The latter is well-rounded like her teammate, stressing the opposition with a potent attack and then making life difficult for folks trying to attack the Bulldogs.
