We have enough under our scheduling belts to be able to now see which teams are rising to the top, and in what order. Here are our top five teams in class 3A in Indiana, in reverse order, with a pair of attackers on each that have dictated their respective teams' successes.

#5: New Palestine (12-0)

The Dragons, led by middle [player_tooltip player_id='301138' first='Hayden' last='Ramsey'], have thwarted all comers on their schedule, and share a conference with Yorktown, the toughest match on their (or any) schedule. Hayden defends from pin to pin well, attacks high and hard, and is a tough one to defend because of her length. Fellow junior [player_tooltip player_id='510050' first='Natalie' last='Sevier'] adds another three kills per set to the fray, making defending this pair even tougher. This is the best New Pal team I've seen in quite some time, and with only five weeks left in the regular season, it would be worth your while to take time and watch them work.

#4: Silver Creek (9-2)

Our second mention of Dragons on this list, Silver Creek is led by Louisville commit [player_tooltip player_id='274410' first='Addison' last='Makun'], who averages over four kills per set while hitting well over .300 regularly. Her size is intimidating, and her KIVA training has her volleyball IQ through the roof. Junior outside [player_tooltip player_id='302203' first='Brooklynn' last='Renn'] is a nice offensive complement, at three kills per set, and keeps defenses from camping their block on the 6-3 Makun. With their biggest win over 4A #5 Floyd Central, the sky is the limit for this set of Dragons.

#3: Northview (18-1)

With a collection of early-season tournament play, 18 wins is a ton of winning, even for the Knights. Led by Valparaiso commit [player_tooltip player_id='173242' first='Keira' last='Lucas'], Northview comes at you with a ton of dynamic attackers while passing at a high level, making them a tough out no matter who they play. Keira's six kills per set is one of the highest averages in the state, and is responsible for more than most other attackers in this or any class. I also like [player_tooltip player_id='401487' first='Karsyn' last='Buck'], a junior outside who adds another couple of kills per set while showing an all-around game that keeps the Knights in plays regularly.

#2: Tri-West (10-1)

The 10-1 Bruins are at it once again, led by Pittsburgh commit [player_tooltip player_id='221477' first='Isabelle' last='Masten']. Their lone loss is to 4A #4 Castle, but that was without stud right side [player_tooltip player_id='260995' first='Caroline' last='Ward']. No matter; Miss Masten made up for Ward's absence by pounding out 21 kills against the 4A runners up, a match high. I like how [player_tooltip player_id='192090' first='Ryane' last='Spoonemore'] has stepped up in Ward's absence, being a defensive middle by averaging over a block per set in the process. She's also reached double-digit kills a few times this season, adding to her versatility.

#1: Roncalli (15-0)

Was there ever a doubt as to what team should be at #1 this week? The Royals have dropped exactly four sets this fall, and might not drop another set until they see 3A #2 Tri-West next Wednesday. A pair of outsides punctuate the Royal offense in [player_tooltip player_id='254827' first='Lydia' last='Stahley'] and [player_tooltip player_id='152943' first='Logan' last='Bell']. The pair average seven kills per set and are the main focus of a juggernaut of an offense that AVERAGES over 12 kills per set, while hitting nearly .300 in the process. Stahley (Missouri commit) and Bell (Oregon commit) are just two parts of that machine, so pick your poison when defending them.
