I knew Union had a solid chance of making the semifinals of the Borgia Tournament, but I didn't think they had enough in their tank to win it. Boy, was I wrong? The Wildcats went 2-1 in pool play to advance to the semifinals against Westminster Christian and won 25-22, 25-18. Then, in the finals against Parkway, West Union would take the title with a 25-22, 26-24. Not sure if this is the first time Union has won the Borgia Tournament, but if not, you would have to go back to the 80s to confirm. 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='168038' first='Sophia' last='Helling'], Josselyn Smith, and Hailey Dewitt led the offense and defense.
