<p><strong>Festus Tigers 8-3-1</strong></p>

<p>Winners of the North County Tournament over Potosi 25-22, 25-21, avenging an early split in pool play with Potosi 24-26, 25-22. The Tigers would beat North County, Jefferson, Perryville, and Jefferson again to reach the finals against Potosi. <strong>Jersey Latham</strong> and <strong>Maggie</strong> <strong>Geiler</strong> finished with seven kills in the title match.</p>

<p><strong>Oak Grove Panthers 13-1-1</strong></p>

<p>The Panthers are off to one of the best starts, having won the Hickman Tournament over St. Clair 25-19, 23-25, and 27-25. Oak Grove knocked off Madison, Fatima, Hickman, Lift for Life, and Battle before getting a rematch with St. Clair, who they split with in pool play.</p>

<p><strong>Hillsboro Hawks 14-2-2</strong></p>

<p>In the Dig for Life Tournament, Hillsboro won the Black Division by knocking off Lesterville and New Haven in sweeps to meet Bismarck in the finals. The Hawks would knock off Bismarck 24-26, 25-21, and 25-10 to take the title. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='485593' first='Jersey' last='Robinson']</strong> led the Hawks in kills with 16, five blocks from <strong>Kendall Holland</strong>, and 23 digs from <strong>Kayla Yaeger</strong>.</p>

<p><strong>Winona Wildcats 17-1-2</strong></p>

<p>Winona is the hottest team in Class 1 and won the Red Division of Dig for Life Tournament. During the tournament, Winona knocked off several larger schools and knocked off defending Class 1 champions Advance 25-23, 25-12 during pool play. In the semifinals, Winona swept Valle Catholic to meet with Cape Central for the finals. 2028 <strong>Sadie Kile</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='237001' first='Taylor' last='Williams']</strong> carried the offense with 15 kills while getting 34 assists from <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='232323' first='Lexi' last='Lindsey']</strong>: two tournaments and two tournament titles for the Wildcats.</p>

<p><strong>Pattonville Pirates 12-3</strong></p>

<p>Hosting your tournament can pressure you to win on the home court. Pattonville dominated during the games, taking wins over Howell North, Parkway North, Webster Groves, Ladue, and John Burroughs, all in sweeps. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='168035' first='Reagan' last='Nelson'] </strong>and <strong>Faith Cunningham </strong>led the attack in the championship match with 15 and five kills, respectively.</p>

<p><strong>Lebanon Yellowjackets 13-3-1</strong></p>

<p>Lebanon features one of the best 2025 pins in <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='170043' first='Addy' last='Rebmann']</strong>. With wins over Willard, Joplin, Waynesville, and a split with Hillcrest, the Yellowjackets moved into the semifinals, getting a win over Willard, and then avenged a loss just a week prior to Webb City. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='170043' first='Addy' last='Rebmann']</strong> put down 15 kills in the finals, and <strong>Kaidynce Buttram</strong> added seven to give Lebanon the Hillcrest title with a 24-26, 25-21, and 25-22 win over Webb City.</p>

<p><strong>Lafayette Lancers 16-1</strong></p>

<p>The best team in the state came to play and won the Yellow Division of the Rockwood Tournament. Lafayette went 12-1 in sets, getting sweeps over Lutheran, Lee's Summit North, Kickapoo, Republic, and Lee's Summit West. This set up a winner-take-all matchup with St. James Academy, KS. Lafayette took the match 25-21, 26-28, and 25-10 to win the Yellow Division. In the game, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='207267' first='Kira' last='Dufner']</strong> and <strong>Mackie</strong> <strong>Mueller</strong> played great in the middle, opening up big holes in the block and allowing the pins to do the damage.</p>
