Reno (14-2) suffered their only losses this season to Galena and, coincidentally, to Bishop Manogue during league play. This season's performance was more than enough to crown the Huskies as the 2024 5A Northern League Champions. Bishop Manogue (12-2) wrapped up their season in second place, just behind Reno. The two teams split their regular-season matchups, each winning on their home court. With the championship match taking place at Reno, the Huskies will look to defend their home court for the trophy.

I'm taking Reno to win the 5A Northern League Championship.

Bishop Manogue will need to play the best defense of the season if they want to beat Reno in this championship match. That means big blocks and some key digs. However, Reno is on a mission after easily winning their first match in the playoffs. As we mentioned earlier, the teams split wins this season and Reno has an advantage playing at home. I do think Bishop Manogue is going to put up a great fight and this match could go to 5 sets. Just to throw it out there, Manogue has a much higher win percentage in the 5th set compared to Reno 👀.
