Eva has great reading skills and excellent passing form. She simplifies her setter’s job with disciplined serve-receive passing and defensive passing. Previously on our libero watchlist, Eva’s hard work during the school and club season gives her a strong chance of making the Nevada rankings. Knudsen finished her freshman year in the top 40 of Nevada’s 5A Northern league as a DS on her varsity team. I anticipate that ranking could be higher next year, especially if she moves to the libero position. I’m looking forward to seeing where her sophomore season takes her.

Eva is a standout libero in the making for the class of 2027. Already displaying clean and disciplined form, she provides excellent support to her setter. She is currently ranked in the top 40 in Nevada’s 5A Northern league while playing defensive specialist. With the graduation of her school team’s libero and another DS, Eva has a great chance at becoming the libero. This will allow her to showcase the skills she’s been refining during club play and tally up even more digs. I’ll be closely monitoring this freshman during the Fall season.
