Class 4 sees many athletes making career-highs in kills, assists, and digs. The big-time performers are starting to hit their stride coming down the stretch of the season. Here are my pics of Class 4 players of the week.

[player_tooltip player_id='490109' first='Millie' last='Bauer'] – 6'3" – Middle – Springfield Catholic

The University of Missouri recruit carries her team offensively, putting up some big numbers. In the win over Osceola 2-1, Millie hit .522 with 28 kills, and then, in a sweep of Forsyth, she finished with 20 kills. Millie is the top kill leader for all of the Class 4 players.

[player_tooltip player_id='219756' first='Karlee' last='Riggs'] – 5'10" – Outside – Platte County

It seems we've been talking about Karlee for years now. The hard-hitting left pin for the Pirates hit .545 with 13 kills in a sweep over Ruskin, and then four days later, she hit .455 over St. Pius X with 18 kills.

[player_tooltip player_id='222578' first='Georgia' last='Hite'] – 5'11" – Outside – Burroughs

When Georgia is one, she is a hard one to stop. She's put down 23 kills in each of the last three matches and averaged a .363 hitting percentage.

[player_tooltip player_id='737531' first='Lacey' last='Zumbehl'] – 5'8" – Outside – Lutheran

Lacey is one of her team's top hitters this season; last week had a great week. In three matches last week, she hit .383 with 34 kills. She helped her team finish 2nd in their home tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='224419' first='Bella' last='Breuer'] – 6'2" – Middle – Camdenton

Bella puts up a big block, and it is tough to stop running the slide. She hit an average of .394 in five straight matches and finished with 55 kills.

[player_tooltip player_id='545769' first='Morgan' last='Sherwood'] – 5'8" – Setter – Union

Union is off to one of the best seasons in recent years, and Morgan has much to do with the team's success. In the 3-1 win over Battle, Morgan had a career-high 41 assists to help her team win.

Giavanna Derose – 5'4”- Libero – Platte County

Giavanna is having a heck of a season for the Pirates. In two matches with Truman this season, the libero had a career-high 31 in a five-set loss, and then last week, in another 5-set loss to Truman, Giavanna finished with 24.
