Just a freshman, Brkic is leading NDCL offensively this season at 3.1 k/s, which includes a streak of five matches in double figure kills. She also picked up 20 digs in the win. Brkic has a solid skill set in all phases of the game and competes like a veteran with good arm control and tools to lead the ball control aspects for the Lions. At 5'7, the sophomore outside hitter has some great tools that help her contribute all around the court. She can pass and defend well with good read and reaction to the ball, but it is at the net where she is impressive as she can develop some big pace through a fast arm swing. With increased offensive output from 2023, she is averaging 2.8 k/s.   Bryn Schoenleben - S | Parkway Parkway made quick work of St. John's 3-0 by identical set scores of 25-17. Schoenbleben is the Panther's setter and dished an average of 10.7 a/s to guide their offense to a dominant performance. At 13.3 k/s, Parkway outhit St. John's 40-15 in total kills. Schoenleben also added eight digs. With over 540 total assists in 2024, she has far outperformed her distribution from 2023 that includes a season average of 7.3 a/s.   Caroline Winans - L | Wayne Trace The Raiders defeated Ayersville 3-2 in a conference match to improve to 11-11 overall. Winans led the defense with a total of 35 digs for a match high and a career best single-match output. The junior recently surpassed 500 career digs and his contributing 14.7 d/m this season, improving upon her 2023 season.
