Five Small Town Teams in Nevada Making a Big Impact

Numerous smaller towns across the state are home to some incredibly talented players who are excelling in various categories.&nbsp;With our upcoming showcase coming up in Las Vegas on 11/16/2024 - we are hoping to see some of these players attend and gain some major exposure. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>At Prepdig, our mission is to showcase athletes from every corner of the state. They absolutely have been on fire and holds one of, if not THE best record in Nevada. The team is currently 22-3 and 11-0 in league. While their strength of schedule may keep them lower in state rankings, there's no doubt this team is among the elite in Nevada based on their impressive numbers. The team is currently 7-0 in league play with an impressive overall record. They are led by an impressive senior class, including: [player_tooltip player_id='715109' first='Sofia' last='Hammond'], Claire Cox and Sienna Neilsen. Freshman [player_tooltip player_id='723988' first='Phoebe' last='Leavitt'] is having an outstanding season as a freshman on varsity, second in her class in assists and #10 overall in the state. This puts them in a strong position for the playoffs and a potential championship run. Their team features some of the top talent in 3A, including senior Arianna Mathern, who ranks #23 in Nevada for kills. Despite three losses to some tough opponents, they sit in 4th place in league play. They previously faced North Tahoe, whom they lost to, but will meet back up at the end of the season. Senior Sweden Smith is excelling with her serves, ranking 22nd in all of Nevada with 52 aces, while also racking up an impressive amount of kills and digs. Freshman [player_tooltip player_id='629958' first='Mayzie' last='Tobler'] is making her mark too, sitting 13th in Nevada for assists with a total of 354.
