Pretty hard to pick between the top five or six teams, especially when they keep beating each other. For last week, who lost the least and beat the best? Nonetheless, here is the [program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last=''] 15 for week 5.

1. St. Thomas Aquinas (20-3)

For me, it came down to they were beaten by former number one Blue Valley West but also beat Blue Valley West. They also beat Olathe West who also defeated Blue Valley West. Got all of that? They were defeated by number one but number one and number six and number six beat number one.

2. Olathe West (23-4)

The highest ranking yet but it was earned in my opinion. They beat the former number one, lost to the new number one, and also beat a ranked Lee's Summit West team. [player_tooltip player_id='355651' first='Neely' last='Leathers'] had 26 assists in that win.

3. Blue Valley West (20-3)

Don't need to recap what was stated above but will add they also beat Lee's Summit West and dropped two spots. [player_tooltip player_id='173372' first='Lily' last='Wedman'] dished 30 assists in the three-set loss to Aquinas.

4. St. James (20-3)

The Thunder had one loss this week to Blue Valley North.

5. Blue Valley Southwest (20-3)

The Timberwolves were beaten by number 4 St. James but got a solid win over Belton.

6. Blue Valley North (16-7)

I dropped Blue Valley North quite a few spots last week but as stated they had no bad defeats. They turned around this week and beat previously ranked Blue Valley Northwest and number four St. James. [player_tooltip player_id='154041' first='Logan' last='Parks'] has been playing well during their winning streak.

7. Mill Valley (21-3)

Mill Valley suffered a surprising loss at the hands of Olathe North.

8. Park Hill South (22-7)

A five-set win over Liberty, along with wins over ranked Truman and Park Hill allows the Panthers to move up some spots. [player_tooltip player_id='219763' first='Peyton' last='Liming'] had 23 kills in the win over Liberty.

9. Liberty (20-4)

Liberty dropped a tough five-setter to Park Hill South.

10. St. Michael the Archangel (16-3)

A perfect week for St. James with their signature win being over Liberty North. Four players had double-digit kills in that match led by [player_tooltip player_id='396499' first='Kinley' last='Gillihan']'s 15.

11. Belton (25-3-1)

Belton was beaten by number five Blue Valley Southwest and then dropped by Spring Hill.

12. Truman (21-3-1)

Truman added a loss to the column being defeated by number eight Park Hill South.

13. Lee's Summit West (14-9)

A lot of losses for a ranked team but the newest come courtesy of the top three teams in our rankings. They also beat Liberty North.

14. Liberty North (17-6)

The Eagles suffered a couple of setbacks, losing to Lee's Summit West and St. Michael.

15. Park Hill (13-5)

Park Hill hangs on for the final spot with their lone defeat this week coming from Park Hill South.

Creeping up: Olathe South, Maranatha Christian, Tonganoxie

Pretty hard to pick between the top five or six teams, especially when they keep beating each other. For last week, who lost the least and beat the best? Nonetheless, here is the
