On October 12, I took a beautiful fall drive down Highway 56 to scout two matches in the Council Grove Tournament.

The second match I watched was a two-set win by Clearwater over Wamego.

Here is a look at four prospects who had solid matches in the Indian's victory.

[player_tooltip player_id='520294' first='Kenzy' last='McArtor'], 6'0”, OH, Clearwater, ‘25

McArtor is currently ranked No. 41 overall in the class of 2025 and has verbally committed to Oklahoma Christian. She had an outstanding match. She was one of several Stat Monsters in the two-set opening tournament win. McArtor tallied a team-high eight kills and added nine digs, six serve receptions, two aces, and one block. She is a talented athlete who is heading to Oklahoma Christian along with other Prep Dig ranked athletes from the Wichita area.

[player_tooltip player_id='219719' first='Kaylee' last='Hampton'], 5'9”, S/RS, Clearwater, ‘25

I was amped up on the drive about getting to see Hampton play. Then my bubble got busted as I learned she had committed to play college softball. However, she did not disappoint as she filled up her stat line in the match with 14 assists, four kills, five digs, one ace, and one block. She is a gifted athlete who has verbally committed to play softball at Washburn University. She plays shortstop and third base. I am going to go out on a limb, and guess she has a legit throwing arm.

[player_tooltip player_id='493438' first='Madison' last='Williams'], 5'7”, OH/DS, Clearwater, ‘25

Wiliams is currently ranked No. 158 overall in the class of 2025. She is a stellar defensive player and her elevator goes all the way to the top floor. She racked up 14 serve receptions, six digs, and five kills. She has multiple track and field offers. Clearwater girls' sports programs appear to be a must-watch all year long.

Autumn Chmieleski, 5'6”, DS/L, Clearwater, ‘25

Clearwater has an unranked libero looking to play college volleyball. Chmieleski tallied nine serve receptions and 11 digs in Clearwater's win. She has nice footwork and played well during long rallies. She has a deceptive serve that can be utilized at the college level.
